Jurassic Park is a very important title for my teenage life and I still remember well that beautiful bad day spent at the cinema with my older brother in 1993, a success that did not have a great following with chapter 2 and above all the more disappointing chapter 3 When I learned about the new saga, Jurassic World, a sequel to the 90's trilogy, I admit that I feared the worst, although I was comforted by the presence of Steven Spielberg as a producer.
Jurassic World, more than 20 years after Jurassic Park, has greatly improved in terms of graphic effects: here the dinosaurs are made in computer graphics with a very high visual effect while in the first film the Jurassic animals were made of paper and similar materials . The cast has been completely revolutionized, there is no presence of any protagonist of the trilogy, and the story tells of the redevelopment of the island of Isla Nublar, after 22 years from the previous accident that caused victims and damage such as to have to leave the park .
With new technologies and new investors, making the park safer and more enjoyable for the visitor experience. The novelty consists in the creation of genetically modified dinosaurs in order to obtain new species and develop new behavioral characteristics, with the presumption of domesticating the Jurassic creatures. Genetics fails in its plan, proving that it is not possible to tame creatures with an innate instinct for hunting like the Rex, the most fearsome and violent among the dinosaurs, also developing a superior intelligence that will be able to deceive the same scientists.
A new escape of the animals and the park goes back in time, when the disaster began. This time to remedy there will be Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), former military and now trainer of velociraptors, with whom he has shown to have a certain feeling. Owen will have to rescue the grandchildren of Claire, the park manager, who are missing on the island after the escape of the Tyrannosaurus Rex and all the other dangerous animals kept in the park.
The tragedy is looming. Claire's nieces repeatedly come close to death after close encounters with fearsome dinosaurs, including the Rex, but eventually manage to reunite with Aunt Claire and Owen. As in a horror movie, in the end the group finds themselves facing the T-Rex and thanks to the help of the velociraptors and an unexpected ally, they will be able to escape.
My impressions are very positive, past the impact of the new protagonists, the story is well constructed and compelling. The special effects have definitely improved the appearance of the dinosaurs but also of the scenography in general: more details, colors and emotions. I love the soundtrack they left intact and that always makes my heart tremble a little. The film was a huge grossing success with over $ 500 million and garnered many international accolades. I recommend the vision to fans of the trilogy as long as you release any prejudice with respect to the original film.

Jurassic Park è un titolo davvero importante per la.mia vita adolescenziale e ricordo bene ancora quella bellissima giornataccia trascorsa al cinema con mio fratello maggiore nel 1993, un successo che non ha avuto un ottimo seguito con il capitolo 2 e soprattutto il più deludente capitolo 3. Quando ho saputo nella nuova saga, Jurassic World, un sequel della trilogia degli anni 90, ammetto che ho temuto il peggio, sebbene mi consolasse la presenza di Steven Spielberg come produttore.
Jurassic World, a distanza di oltre 20 anni da Jurassic Park, è notevolmente migliorato sotto l'aspetto degli effetti grafici: qui i dinosauri sono realizzati in computer grafica ad altissimo effetto visivo mentre nel primo film gli animali giurassici erano costituiti di carta e materiali simili. Il cast è stato completamente rivoluzionato, non vi è la presenza di nessun protagonista della trilogia, e la storia narra della riqualificazione dell'isola di Isla Nublar, dopo 22 anni dal precedente incidente che ha causato vittime e danni ingenti tali da dover abbandonare il parco.
Con le nuove tecnologie e nuovi investitori, rendendo il parco più sicuro e più piacevole all'esperienza dei visitatori. La novità consiste nella creazione di dinosauri modificati geneticamente al fine di ottenere nuove specie e sviluppare nuove caratteristiche comportamentali, con la presunzione di addomesticare le creature giurassiche. La genetica fallisce nel suo piano, dimostrando che non è possibile addomesticare creature dall'istinto innato per la caccia come il Rex, il più temibile e violento tra i dinosauri, sviluppando inoltre un'intelligenza superiore che riuscirà ad ingannare gli stessi scienziati.
Una nuova fuga degli animali ed il parco torna indietro nel tempo, quando ebbe inizio il disastro. Questa volta a porre rimedio ci sarà Owen Grady (Chris Pratt), ex militare ed ora ammaestratore dei velociraptor, con i quali ha dimostrato di avere un certo feeling. Owen dovrà salvare i nipoti di Claire, la responsabile del parco, dispersi nell'isola dopo l'evasione del tirannosauro Rex e di tutti gli altri pericolosi animali custoditi nel parco.
La tragedia incombe. I nipoti di Claire sfiorano più volte la morte dopo incontri ravvicinati con temibile dinosauri, tra cui il Rex, ma alla fine riescono a ricongiungersi con la zia Claire e Owen. Come in un film horror, alla fine il gruppo si ritrova ad affrontare il T-Rex e grazie all'aiuto dei velociraptor ed ad un alleato inaspettato, riusciranno a mettersi in salvo.
Le mie impressioni sono molto positive, superato l'impatto dei nuovi protagonisti, la storia è ben costruita e avvincente. Gli effetti speciali hanno decisamente migliorata l'aspetto dei dinosauri ma anche della scenografia in generale: più dettagli, colori ed emozioni. Adoro la colonna sonora che hanno lasciato integra e che mi fa sempre tremare un po' il cuore. Il film ha avuto un enorme successo in termini d'incassi, con oltre 500 milioni di dollari ed ha ottenuto molti riconoscimenti internazionali. Consiglio la visione agli appassionati della trilogia a patto che liberiate qualsiasi pregiudizio rispetto al film originale.
