The 20% APR for HBD deposits in Savings has definitely increased the interest from the community for example a plan to accumulate their own rewards from posts. What makes Hive different from many other places out there is that everyone can get HIVE or HBD even without having to use their own financial capital.

Many users like me for example, have accumulated a fair amount of Hive Power over time but are not willing to Power Down to convert it to HBD, knowing well the possibilities of growing in the near future.
