A film that has become a Christmas cult and that every year fascinates me since I was a child, when I used to see it on TV or VHS with my brother. It's a funny movie, suitable even for the little ones, and it has always given me great courage to face situations with determination and fun at the same time.
The small Kevin is the smallest of the McAllister family and like every year, before leaving for the family's holidays, all the relatives gather in the house to dine and the next morning go to the airport. Kevin is a little bit rebellious and looking for attention and that night he is punished by his mother and forced to sleep in the bed in the attic alone.
The following morning he starts with a late alarm for the McAllisters, due to a night snow storm, and in the hurry to get dressed and go to the airport, Kevin's mother only remembers leaving his son at home on the plane , in the bed in attic. When he wakes up, Kevin realizes the strange silence and after a few minutes of surprise he realizes that his dream has come true: his family does not and he can only live at home.
In the following days Kevin does housework, dedicates himself to cooking and looks adult movies by eating unhealthy food, disobeying all parental rules. One morning he discovers that a band of thieves is emptying the houses of the residential neighborhood where he lives, taking advantage of the absence of the owners, who are busy with the long Christmas holidays.
Kevin, despite his young age, prepares for the big evening using all the tools that the house offers him and finally managing to neutralize their plan. Meanwhile Kevin's parents manage to get home and despite being worried because of his health, the child proves that he can take care of himself.
Home Alone is a symbol of a rebellious generation and wants to show that it is stronger than it seems. Actually, at the end of the film, you have the charge to be able to tackle something bigger, but to do this it is still essential family support. The film does not present any kind of special effects and I am grateful to the director for this. I was fascinated by the imagination used by the authors to build traps with simple household tools. The two are also very good
thieves Harry (Joe Pesci) and Marv (Daniel Stern), very funny and good at their failed attempt to rob a house protected by Kevin! A film that I surely recommend to everyone!

Un film che è diventato un cult natalizio e che ogni anno mi appassiona sin da quando ero bambino, quando io ero solito vederlo in TV o VHS con mio fratello. E' un film divertente, adatto anche i più piccoli, e mi ha sempre dato un gran coraggio ad affrontare le situazioni con grinta e divertimento allo stesso tempo.
Il piccolo Kevin è il più piccolo della famiglia McAllister e come ogni anni, prima della partenza per le ferie della famiglia, tutti i parenti si riuniscono in casa per cenare ed il mattino successivo recarsi in aeroporto. Kevin è un ragazzino un po' ribelle ed in cerca di attenzioni e quella sera viene punito dalla madre ed obbligato a dormire nel letto in soffitta da solo.
Il mattino seguente inizia con una sveglia in gran ritardo per i McAllister, a causa di una temepsta di neve notturna, e nella fretta di vestirsi ed andare in aeroporto, solo sull'aereo la mamma di Kevin si ricorda di aver lasciato suo figlio a casa, nel letto in
soffitta. Al suo risveglio Kevin si accorge dello strano silenzio de dopo qualche minuto di sorpresa capisce che il suo sogno si è realizzato: la sua famiglia non cìè e lui può vivere solo in casa.
Nei giorni successivi Kevin svolge faccende casalinghe, si dedica alla cucina e guarda
film per adulti mangiando cibo non sano, disobbedendo a tutte le regole dei genitori.
Una mattina scopre che una banda di ladri sta svuotando le case del quartiere residenziale in cui vive, approfittando dell'assenza dei proprietari, impegnati nelle lunghe ferie natalizie.
Kevin, nonostante la sua giovane età si prepara alla grande sera utilizzando tutti gli strumenti che la casa gli offre e riuscendo infine a neutrallizzare il loro piano. Nel frattempo i genitori di Kevin riescono a tornare a casa e nonostante fossero preoccupati per le sue condizioni di salute, il bambino dimostra di saper badare a se stesso.
Home Alone è un il simbolo di una generazione ribelle e che vuole dimostrare di essere più forte di quello che sembra. Effettivamente alla fine del film si ha la carica per poter affrontare qualcosa di più grande ma per fare ciò è comunque fondamentale il supporto della famiglia. Il film non presente alcun tipo di effetti speciali e sono grato il regista per questo. Sono rimasto affascinato dalla fantasia utilizzata dagli autori per costruire trappole con semplici strumenti casalinghi. Bravissimi anche i due ladri Harry (Joe Pesci) e Marv (Daniel Stern), molto divertenti e bravi nel loro fallito tentativo di derubare una casa protetta da Kevin! Un film che sicuramente consiglio a tutti!
