Reddit has been a social network that has been present for many years and today has millions of subscribers on the platform who interact with each other and organize real thematic communities that group tens of thousands of users. We recently read the action of WallStreeBets, a large group of small investors who have put Marvel Capital, a Wall Street Hedge Found that almost capitulated on Gamestop shares, in big trouble.
Honestly, I have never been a member of the community and I have recently tried to observe it more carefully. The first impression I got is the chaos in finding the issues and following the discussion of the topics. But the underlying problem is the centralization of the platform, i.e. governance is in the hands of the founders who, although they can confirm total impartiality, will never be able to guarantee it, as there are other facts that could affect its regular function.
Why is Hive the natural evolution of Reddit?
What differs between the two blogging platforms is governance and blockchain. Hive does not have a founding group that holds the keys to the platform, no one can intervene to delete, modify any type of content or ban a user. Who is in possession of the keys to the platform is the community itself. Furthermore, while Reddit data is recorded on a server that can be shut down and manipulated at any time, the data in HIVE is scattered across tens of thousands of computers around the world, this is the effectiveness of the blockchain. Each piece of data is shared among users and the more numerous the community, the greater the decentralization of the information present on the platform.
Reddit can compete with Hive about this. Reddit is also a blog. Stop. Hive is a decentralized ecosystem of which the blog is only a part: decentralized applications, NFT marketplaces, microblogging, smart contracts. Do you have any idea how big Hive is? For this I affirm with certainty that Hive is a great evolution not only of Reddit but of any other social platform.

What is the future of HIVE?

A result that is achievable thanks to the spirit of unity that accrues our community and to the many developers who decide to invest their time and money on Hive.

Reddit è un social network presente da molti anni e oggi conta sulla piattaforma milioni di iscritti che interagiscono tra loro e organizzano vere comunità tematiche che raggruppano decine di migliaia di utenti. Di recente abbiamo letto l'azione di WallStreeBets, un folto gruppo di piccoli investitori che hanno messo in grossi guai Marvel Capital, un Wall Street Hedge Found che ha quasi capitolato sulle azioni Gamestop.
Onestamente, non sono mai stato un membro della comunità e recentemente ho cercato di osservarlo con più attenzione. La prima impressione che ho avuto è il caos nel trovare i problemi e nel seguire la discussione degli argomenti. Ma il problema di fondo è l'accentramento della piattaforma, ovvero la governance è nelle mani dei fondatori che, pur potendo confermare la totale imparzialità, non potranno mai garantirla, in quanto vi sono altri fatti che potrebbero condizionarne il regolare funzionamento.
Perché Hive è l'evoluzione naturale di Reddit?
Ciò che differisce tra le due piattaforme di blog è la governance e la blockchain. Hive non ha un gruppo fondatore che detenga le chiavi della piattaforma, nessuno può intervenire per cancellare, modificare qualsiasi tipo di contenuto o bandire un utente. Chi è in possesso delle chiavi della piattaforma è la community stessa. Inoltre, mentre i dati di Reddit sono registrati su un server che può essere spento e manipolato in qualsiasi momento, i dati in HIVE sono sparsi su decine di migliaia di computer in tutto il mondo, questa è l'efficacia della blockchain. Ogni dato viene condiviso tra gli utenti e più la community è numerosa, maggiore è il decentramento delle informazioni presenti sulla piattaforma.
Reddit può competere con Hive su questo. Reddit è anche un blog. Fermare. Hive è un ecosistema decentralizzato di cui il blog è solo una parte: applicazioni decentralizzate, marketplace NFT, microblogging, smart contract. Hai idea di quanto sia grande Hive? Per questo affermo con certezza che Hive è una grande evoluzione non solo di Reddit ma di qualunque altra piattaforma social.
A tutto questo aggiungiamo un sistema inventivo come HIVE coin che non ha costi di transazione, veloce e veloce mentre Reddit al momento si affida ad un sistema di tokenizzazione che si basa sulla blockchain di Ethereum, quindi lento e costoso.
Qual è il futuro di HIVE?
Hive ha un potenziale illimitato fino ad oggi. Non esiste una sola funzione al momento che non possa garantire in futuro. Questa malleabilità alle esigenze future è una caratteristica incredibile ed eccezionale secondo me e rappresenta la differenza con tutte le altre blockchain esistenti. HIVE è quindi unico e con il progresso dello sviluppo della blockchain e dei tanti progetti in cantiere, mi aspetto che raggiunga facilmente la top 10 nei prossimi 2/3 anni. Un risultato raggiungibile grazie allo spirito di unità che matura la nostra community e ai tanti sviluppatori che decidono di investire tempo e denaro su Hive.
