Cardano saves Ethereum Classic: here is Mantis!

Every now and then I write posts on Cardano, what I think will be the hottest blockchain project in 2021, I hope together with Hive, although I think the latter will still need a lot of work and therefore time to capture the attention of investors. Cardano is focusing a lot on interoperability between blockchains and I have already told you about the work in progress with Litecoin. Now Charles Hoskinson, CEO of Cardano, has started a collaboration with Ethereum Classic offering a concrete solution to the continuous attacks suffered by 51%, by building the Mantis client to measure. Written natively for Ethereum Classic, the client allows for continuous checkpoints of the chain and in case of attacks it is easily possible to jump back to avoid it.

Furthermore, the Mantis update does not require any HF but it is simply an update of the structure that does not involve particular changes on the chain and therefore the consent of the miners is not required.

Greater stability and security will allow ETC to continue to exist, having been severely hit to the point of questioning its existence. The IOHK team therefore demonstrates what are the advantages of the Cardano blockchain, able to help and cooperate with any other blockchain today, demonstrating incredible malleability and elasticity. Charles Hoskinson in July of this year launched a Tweet announcing that Cardano could very well have collaborated with Bitcoin thanks to the particular flexibility of its blockchain!

From an analysis carried out on the updates counted on GitHub, Cardano dominates the November ranking with an average of 403 guornalieri commits, a truly impressive number, indicating the high activity on the blockchain. In second place we find Ethereum with an average of 369 daily commits. There is really a lot of work in Cardano and by the end of the month there will be an HF for the update of Goguen, sanctioning the first phase for the transcription of smart contracts on the blockchain. In Cardano the HF do not produce any new money and are managed in a fluid way on the chain and easily allow the updating of the new features and in this case the introduction of _token locking_ and the birth of the first native token to which other tokens will they can be used together with ADA.

Ogni tanto scrivo post su Cardano, quella che secondo me sarà il progetto blockchain più in voga nel 2021, spero assieme ad Hive, sebbene penso che quest'ultima avrà ancora bisogno di molto lavoro e quindi tempo prima di catturare l'attenzione degli investitori. Cardano si sta concentrando molto sull'interoperabilitá tra le blockchain e vi ho già parlato dei lavori in corso con Litecoin. L'aggiornamento di Mantis inoltre non richiede alcuna HF ma si tratta semplicemente di un aggiornamento della struttura che non comporta particolari cambiamenti sulla catena e quindi non è richiesto il consenso dei miners.

Maggiore stabilità e sicurezza permetteranno ad ETC di continuare ad esistere, essendo stata duramente colpita fino a mettere in dubbio la sua esistenza. Il team IOHK quindi dimostra quali siano i vantaggi della blockchain di Cardano, in grado di poter aiutare e cooperare ad oggi con qualsiasi altra blockchain, dimostrando una malleabilità ed elasticità incredibili. Charles Hoskinson a luglio di quest'anno lanciò un Tweet in cui annunciava che Cardano avrebbe potuto benissimo collaborare con Bitcoin grazie alla particolare flessibilità della sua blockchain!

Da un'analisi effettuata sugli aggiornamenti conteggiati su GitHub, Cardano domina la classifica di Novembre con una media di 403 commits guornalieri, un numero davvero impressionante, indice dell'elevata attività sulla blockchain. Al secondo posto troviamo Ethereum con una media di 369 commits giornalieri. C'è davvero tanto lavoro in Cardano ed entro fine mese vi sarà un HF per l'aggiornamento di Goguen, sancendo la prima fase per la trascrizione degli smart contracts sulla blockchain. In Cardano gli HF non producono nessuna nuova moneta e sono gestiti in modo fluido sulla catena e consentono facilmente l'aggiornamento della nuove funzionalità ed in questo caso l'introduzione del _token locking_ e la nascita del primo token nativo a cui si affincheranno altri token che potranno essere utilizzati assieme ad ADA.
