Cardano ready for DeFi

Cardano's HF is getting closer and closer, Alonzo is in both the terminal phase and by September (the announcement given is 12) it will be possible to create smart contracts on the blockchain. The announcement on Twitter by Charles Hopkinson, CEO of Cardano, immediately electrified the market, prompting ADA to break several resistances and to touch the $ 2 threshold again, 3 months after the last time.

Smart contracts represent a big step forward for the project that finally recovers the distance from Ethereum and will really be able to compete with the blockchain created by Vitalik, which in the meantime has just moved to the London update, another step towards PoS, planned for the beginning of 2022.

The advent of Smart contracts is fundamental for Cardano because it relies heavily on DeFi, guaranteeing a safer and cheaper network, capable of supporting thousands of transactions without any difficulty and for a few fractions of ADA. The challenge to Ethereum's DeFi is about to begin but even here the Cardano team will have to recover scary ground, in fact the value of the TVL blocked on the Ethereum network is over 75 billion dollars and achieving this goal will not be easy at all.

It is conceivable that Charles Hopkinson's goal is to compete with Ethereum but over a long period. Attracting funds and investments to the Cardano network will not be immediate but it is interesting to remember that the goal remains Africa also for DeFi and here the CEO is convinced that the amount of economic resources are well beyond the current imaginable. Africa is a gold mine, however it is necessary to equip it with the right tools to be able to extract it. Hence the agreements for the creation of technological infrastructures such as the internet, hardware arrangement such as tablets and computers, the creation of a network on which Cardano can spread.

The many agreements with some African governments aim precisely in this direction. Personally, I think Cardano is a very interesting but long-term project. The current value is $ 2 but in the coming years Charles himself admitted it could grow exponentially, together with DeFi and the crypto world. Buying ADA for trading or making short-term profit may not be the right choice. Those who buy ADAs prefer to keep them in their wallet and get more ADA from the stake which today I make about 5% per annum. Another field of interest of Cardano is the NFT sector in which I personally believe a lot but at the moment it has not yet expressed itself correctly. Still too much speculation and scams everywhere. But over time, NFTs will become an integral part of the economic system, along with DeFi, and this is where the real value of innovation will jump. Creating the foundations today for the technology of tomorrow, Cardano aims in this direction.

L'HF di Cardano è sempre più vicino, Alonzo è nella sia fase terminale ed entro settembre (l'annuncio dato è il 12) sarà possibile creare smart contracts sulla blockchain. L'annuncio su Twitter di Charles Hopkinson, CEO di Cardano, ha subito elettrizzato il mercato spingendo ADA a rompere diverse resistenze e a toccare nuovamente la soglia dei 2 dollari, dopo ben 3 mesi dall'ultima volta.

Gli smart contracts rappresentano un grande passo in avanti per il progetto che finalmente recupera la distanza da Ethereum e potrà davvero competere con la blockchain creata da Vitalik, che nel frattempo è appena passata all'aggiornamento London, un altro passo verso il PoS, previsto per l'inizio del 2022.

L'avvento degli Smart contracts è fondamentale per Cardano perché punta molto sulla DeFi, garantendo una rete più sicura ed economica, in grado di supportare migliaia di transazioni senza alcuna difficoltà e per poche frazioni di ADA. La sfida alla DeFi di Ethereum sta per iniziare ma anche qui il team di Cardano dovrà recuperare un terreno spaventoso, infatti sono oltre 75 miliardi di dollari il valore del TVL bloccato sulla rete Ethereum e raggiungere questo obiettivo non sarà affatto semplice.

È immaginabile che l'obiettivo di Charles Hopkinson sia di competere con Ethereum ma su un lungo periodo. Attirare fondi e investimenti sulla rete Cardano non sarà immediato ma è interessante ricordare che l'obiettivo resta l'Africa anche per la DeFi e qui il CEO è convinto che la quantità di risorse economiche siano ben oltre l'attuale immaginabile. L'Africa è una miniera d'oro, è necessario però dotarla degli strumenti giusti per poterlo estrarre. Da qui gli accordi per la creazione d'infrastrutture tecnologiche come la rete internet, disposizione hardware come tablet e computer, la creazione di una rete su cui possa diffondersi Cardano.

I tanti accordi con alcuni governi africani mirano proprio in questa direzione. Personalmente ritengo Cardano un progetto davvero molto interessante ma a lungo termine. Il valore attuale è di 2 $ ma nei prossimi anni lo stesso Charles ha ammesso potrà crescere esponenzialmente, assieme alla DeFi e al mondo crypto. Acquistare ADA per fare trading o ricavare profitto a breve termine potrebbe non essere la scelta giusta. Chi acquista ADA preferisce tenerli nel proprio wallet e ricavare altra ADA dallo stake che oggi rendo circa il 5% annuo. Altro campo d'interesse di Cardano è il settore NFT in cui personalmente credo molto ma al momento non si è ancora espresso in modo corretto. Ancora troppa speculazione e scam ovunque. Ma con il tempo gli NFT diventeranno parte integrante del sistema economico, assieme alla DeFi, ed è qui che balzerà il reale valore dell'innovazione. Creare le basi oggi per la tecnologia di domani, Cardano mira in questa direzione.
