The adoption of Bitcoin continues to progress quietly and more and more governments are starting to consider it legal and above all no longer a pure commodity but as a real currency, useful for payments at par of the local currency. In fact, Colombia has recently entered into a partnership between Bancocolombia, the national reference bank, and the American exchange Gemini. Founded by the Winklevoss brothers in 2014, the exchange is expanding significantly especially in South America, a territory in which the institute has decided to expand, finding excellent support from local governments who are increasingly supporting the adoption of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, no longer considered as an obstacle to local finance but rather an important support for the local economy.
The partnership will allow all the bank's customers to easily purchase cryptocurrencies directly through the same institution, offering greater guarantees of security and custody of assets such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin. All this will be possible as early as December 14th! Furthermore, the Brazilian government wants to encourage green mining, that is, deriving from renewable sources, by offering a tax free to anyone who decides to invest in this solution.
Brazil has huge water resources that are not fully utilized and therefore thousands of potential megawatts are unused. This is the reason why many world mining companies are testing the territory to better study the green solution and exploit the power of the great Brazilian rivers for free. If the Brazilian government also adds free taxation to all this, then it is plausible that many mining farms will soon arise that will move and decentralize the mining power and production of Bitcoin.
In fact, the country has been trying to regulate cryptocurrencies for some time, which to date do not have ad hoc laws. Indeed, a few months ago it was rumored that Bitcoin could become legal tender also in Brazil, as proposed by the deputy Aureo Ribiero who had declared his choice to Yahoo Finance. Still on the subject of Bitcoin and eco-compatibility, the first ETF in favor of the green economy was launched in Brazil last August to neutralize carbon emissions.
I am sure that other governments will soon adopt similar measures, probably belonging to areas that do not enjoy a strong economy and are therefore the most interested in finding efficient solutions to change the fate of their country.

L'adozione di Bitcoin continua a progredire silenziosamente e sempre più governi iniziano a considerarlo legale e soprattutto non più una merce pura ma come una vera e propria moneta, utile per pagamenti alla pari della valuta locale. La Colombia, infatti, ha da poco stretto una partnership tra Bancocolombia, banca nazionale di riferimento, e la borsa americana Gemini. Fondato dai fratelli Winklevoss nel 2014, lo scambio si sta espandendo notevolmente soprattutto in Sud America, territorio in cui l'istituto ha deciso di espandersi, trovando un ottimo supporto da parte delle amministrazioni locali che stanno sempre più sostenendo l'adozione di Bitcoin e delle criptovalute, non più considerate un ostacolo alla finanza locale ma piuttosto un importante supporto per l'economia locale.
La partnership consentirà a tutti i clienti della banca di acquistare facilmente criptovalute direttamente tramite lo stesso istituto, offrendo maggiori garanzie di sicurezza e custodia di asset come Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin. Tutto questo sarà possibile già dal 14 dicembre! Inoltre, il governo brasiliano vuole incoraggiare il green mining, cioè derivante da fonti rinnovabili, offrendo un tax free a chiunque decida di investire in questa soluzione.
Il Brasile dispone di enormi risorse idriche non completamente utilizzate e quindi migliaia di potenziali megawatt sono inutilizzati. Per questo molte compagnie minerarie mondiali stanno testando il territorio per studiare al meglio la soluzione green e sfruttare gratuitamente la potenza dei grandi fiumi brasiliani. Se a tutto questo il governo brasiliano aggiungerà anche la tassazione gratuita, allora è plausibile che presto sorgeranno molte mining farm che sposteranno e decentralizzeranno il potere minerario e la produzione di Bitcoin.
Da tempo, infatti, il Paese sta cercando di regolamentare le criptovalute, che ad oggi non hanno leggi ad hoc. Alcuni mesi fa, infatti, si vociferava che Bitcoin potesse diventare a corso legale anche in Brasile, come proposto dal deputato Aureo Ribiero che aveva dichiarato la sua scelta a Yahoo Finance. Sempre in tema di Bitcoin ed eco-compatibilità, lo scorso agosto è stato lanciato in Brasile il primo ETF a favore della green economy per neutralizzare le emissioni di carbonio.
Sono certo che presto altri governi adotteranno misure simili, probabilmente appartenenti ad aree che non godono di un'economia forte e sono quindi i più interessati a trovare soluzioni efficaci per cambiare le sorti del proprio Paese.
