Love, a word with a lot of meanings. You can love someone in a romantic way. You can love someone as a friend. You can love someone because they are your family. Love has a lot of meanings and is everywhere. We are aware with that. There are so many words to describe what love is. There are a lot of perception about it from other people as well. It depends on how we understand it, how we look at it, and how we feel it. We are all different, and so is our definition of love.
Some people don’t believe in love. Or maybe their hearts can’t feel it anymore because of some circumstances. Some people are obsessed with love and they are afraid of not feeling it. Some people are afraid of love because they have been once hurt. Some people avoid love, too, because they think it will a threat to them and can trigger their weakness. There are billions of people across the globe that doesn’t share one particular way of thinking, so we cannot say that we all believe in one definition of love and how it works.
Have you met someone who is as cold as ice? They may have built a wall around them because they are too afraid that this love can melt them down. I have met people who really don’t care about showing affection and love. But, I know and I can see that deep down in their hearts, there is love. I have met people who are afraid to love because they have been hurt once, twice, and even more than these times. I have met people who are so obsessed with love that it made them look weak. They love too deep and too much that it made people around them take advantage of it. There are people that beg for love. They beg for love since they think they are not getting it from other people. There are people who wants to be loved but end up disappointing themselves because people can’t give it to them.
Sometimes, we think that we are not getting any love. Baby, you are so wrong. You just can’t see it, but there are people who cares for you and loves you secretly. Or may some of them are not just showy. There are people who stands for you, too. There are people who loves you, too. You just have to open yourself with the idea that love can be everywhere. You have to open your eyes and appreciate those people who are beside you no matter what. Do not focus on begging love to someone who is not willing to love you in the first place. Try to settle down your self with being contented with the people around you who shows you genuine love.
They say, love is everywhere. Yes, it is obviously everywhere. Some can see and feel it, but sometimes it hides behind people. It is everywhere, indeed. When we say love, it doesn’t mean we are referring to a it in a romantic way. We can love our neighbors and be friends with them. We love our family. We love ourselves. We love nature. And we love the world as well. We should always think that love is free. Do not hesitate to show it to everyone you care about. It is free and is unlimited. But, love with limit. Know your limit. Because love can be dangerous too. Love can hurt too. And it can hurt you big time.
