Gypsy's Revenge: Guilty or Not?

This is another article about a documentary about killing a family member. The documentaries that I have been sharing here are really recommendable, but it also depends on the kind of person whether he likes the documentaries that I am watching. I don’t know if everyone here is familiar with this documentary but it is about killing her mother, not with her bare hands, but she played an important part on killing her own mother. Typically, if we heard that someone took part on planning of killing her own mother, we will be mad at the daughter. We will put the blame on her. Which is exactly a reaction of a person who cannot stand the thought of killing a mother. As you watch this documentary, at first, you will think that Gypsy is a bad daughter. But surely, the plot twist will shock you.

Gypsy Blanchard has been said to have a cancer back then. And, her mother asked for help for her faster recovery that put their lives on spotlight. People gave sympathy. Government lend their helping hands. Media has been broadcasting their lives. And donations are overflowing. They have been blessed with a lot of sympathy and helping hands. I remembered a part of this documentary where Gypsy is really in a hospital, with her bald hair and broken teeth. She really looked diseased.

But, everyone got shocked with the news that her mother was found dead in their own house, and she is not there. She cannot walk, but her wheelchair was in there. Her mother was dead, and she isn’t home. An investigation was conducted and is being widely-talked since they have been broadcasted on televisions because of Gypsy’s said situation and health condition.

They tried to track down Gypsy. She has no friends at all, she just met them online. Though, they discovered that she has a boyfriend. They tried to find the location of her boyfriend hoping that Gypsy would be there as well. And, they found out that she stayed on her boyfriend’s house after the incident. She was then brought to the investigation room to get her statement, and she admitted that they planned to kill her. She admitted how they searched for possible ways on how to kill someone. And they came up with sticking to the plan of killing her mother no matter what. But, what took a daughter kill her own mother? That is the question. How did she do that? How did she bare the thought of killing her own mother? And the nightmare of Gypsy’s life began to be heard.

Gypsy does not have cancer at all. Her hair was being shaved by her mother so she could look like she’s losing her hair due to her health condition. Her mother takes her to a dental clinic, not to have her tooth checked and fixed but the opposite. She said that her mother makes sure to hurt her legs and feet every night so she could not walk, since in media and in the eyes of her donors, another health condition she had was she cannot be able to walk. It was just all an act. Her health condition was all an act and her mother’s the mastermind.

And the reason why she killed her is because she found out that Gypsy has a boyfriend. Gypsy was told to have no friends, maybe because she was afraid that her dirty little scheme will be out. After knowing that Gypsy has a boyfriend, she beat her the whole night, that made her plan for her mother’s murder. She wanted a normal life, but her mother lacked on giving it.

Gypsy’s revenge, is it reasonable or not?
