Earthlings will colonize Mars?

Centuries-old speculations not only about the possibility of life on Mars, but also about the existence of a far more advanced civilization on this planet that threatens our destruction, seem to have made an incredible turn: Earthlings will colonize Mars.

We have witnessed numerous scientific achievements whose ideas seemed impossible at first, which were met with skepticism in scientific circles and ridiculed by the public, and which nevertheless went down in history as revolutionary ventures, while no one remembers the skeptic. Although some today believe that the mission of colonizing Mars by Earthlings is an impossible mission, others firmly believe in it. During the 19th century, it was confirmed that Mars has many similarities with the Earth, primarily related to the tilt of the planet, the existence of water in liquid form, the length of the day and the existence of seasons, which has long led scientists to think that possible, and today led to serious preparations for the migration of mankind to Mars.

While NASA says that as far as the trip itself is concerned, they already have everything technologically, from spacecraft, landing equipment and robots that would prepare the ground for settlement, experts remind that due to weak gravity and atmosphere that is much rarer than ours, it makes landing slower. Mars was very complicated for a rover "curiosity" weighing one ton, while a capsule in which people would be would have to be at least ten times heavier.

Taking into account the fact that future colonists are not expected to return to Earth, NASA will select candidates based on a psychological assessment of their readiness to build, maintain healthy interpersonal relationships and a clear awareness of the importance of this endeavor. As it is human nature to rule, sociologists fear that life established on Mars could turn into the tyranny of the stronger or those who would be the first to seize important resources such as oxygen or water supplies, which is why some associations are proposing to write strict rules in the form of the Constitution. for space colonies.

Doctors are concerned about their health throughout the mission. As passengers will spend at least ten months in space, they warn of a space disease that affects the hard work of the heart, which due to low gravity will not work with the power it is used to, which can lead to loss of muscle mass, as well as the danger of space radiation. represents an insufficiently researched scientific field predicts great certainty that if the colonists landed on Mars at all due to long exposure to strong radiation they would probably come there sterile and incapable of reproduction. Even if it is established that this assumption is not correct, in order to create the valid genetic conditions of reproduction that are necessary for a community that could survive on Mars, it is necessary for at least 2,000 people to fly there.

If we assume that all these obstacles will be successfully overcome and that a group of Earthlings will go down in history as the first people to successfully land on Mars, the question of their survival there arises after consuming food supplies taken from Earth.

The inhabitants of the Red Planet will have to grow the plant culture themselves in order to survive. That such a thing is possible is confirmed by the research of Dutch scientists who grew vegetables and cereals on soil similar to that on Mars for two years and determined that these crops are safe to eat because they do not contain dangerous levels of heavy metals. Of course, this does not mean that there is still no fear that vegetables, when grown on Mars, will absorb heavy metals such as cadmium, copper and lead that have been found on this planet.

In addition to a certain amount of skepticism expressed by scientists about key issues, the news that this entire project will turn into a reality TV program that will help raise the funds necessary for the project to be fully realized, has caused serious suspicion and ridicule in the public.

In the past, many researchers of the unknown have been declared crazy scientists, and yet with their experiments they have managed to change the world. With the fact that we have long lived on a planet that is dying in the midst of numerous environmental disasters, it is nice to have at least hope that we will soon be eating vegetables from Mars.

Is it possible that something like this exists, as if this is going to happen to you?
