Stop visit the Easter Weaving Room to round up your Baguio city culture and countryside trip. Easter Weaving Room, which opened in 1909, is as old as Baguio itself.
It's also one of the few spots in Baguio where you can see natives of the Cordillera Region practicing real traditional weaving techniques. It's a fantastic addition to a Baguio day trip.
The Easter Weaving Room offers a work space where you can observe weavers weave with multi-colored threads on looms.
You'll also get to see how the gorgeous Montanosa cloth, a multicolored hand-woven cloth peculiar to the Cordillera Region, is made.
You can walk about the Easter Weaving Room and look at the displays in addition to observing weavers at work.
Bed linens, tablecloths, colorful wall hangings, ethnic textiles, apparel accessories, religious vestments, and more are among the handwoven items available.
