Our Lady of the Atonement Cathedral, often known as Baguio Cathedral, is a Roman Catholic cathedral in Baguio, Philippines, located on Cathedral Loop near Session Road. It is the seat of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Baguio. Its striking pink facade, twin spires, and stained glass windows make it a major tourist destination in Baguio.[1] It served as an evacuation facility during the Japanese Occupation during World War II.
The cathedral features a striking pink façade with a rose window and twin square belfries with pyramidal roofs. There is an observation platform within its vast courtyard that overlooks Session Road and Baguio's central commercial sector.
Pedestrians can enter the cathedral from Session Road by a 104-step stone staircase that leads to a Calvary or through Saint Louis University's adjacent campus .
