Those subject lines at least imply there is little or no work to start making money. Do you believe that? I will make you a deal if you find an internet business that does not require any work, you let me know and I will join from your link.
I am willing to bet that any successful internet marketer spends several hours a day working on their business. They may have a very unconventional work schedule. They can do their business from anywhere in the world as long as there is the internet. They may have a staff that reduces the amount or type of work they do. But I guarantee their business requires work & effort.
Let's look at affiliate marketing. This is arguably the easiest and least expensive internet business to start. All you have to do is find a product or company that pays commissions. Send out some emails, advertise on traffic exchanges, and/or build a website to advertise and collect your commissions. Right?
At the highest level that is true but let's look at it in more detail
Find A Product
There are several good reputable services you can use to find products. JVzoo, Warrior+, and ClickBank are probably the best know. Each of those has tools to help you select a product. I am going to use ClickBank for my example because I am most familiar with it.
You go to Click Bank MarketPlace. There will be thousands of products available to sell. You can choose by category and then subcategory. There are a dozen or so filters you can use to narrow the product list further. One of the most important filters is Gravity. Gravity indicates how well the product has sold. The higher the gravity, the better the product sold. I really need to do a video about this because it would do a much better job of explaining it. (Let me know if you would like me to do a video. Thanks.) Once your product is selected you are ready to go, right?
How Are You Going To Advertise?
There are books written about this topic. How you are going advertise dictates what has to be done. If you are just going to advertise on traffic exchanges, the only thing you need to do is add your link to the traffic exchange and then surf to earn credits. (Don't forget to use your tracking service.) This method has a very, very low probability of success.
Using email to market will increase your success. You need to write your emails or use those provided. Read emails to accumulate mailing credits and send your emails. Of course, you can combine traffic exchanges and emails.
But wait, you forgot your list. You need to build your list. So you need to create a squeeze page to capture emails and you need to create a series of follow-up emails to send to those that gave you their emails. In my opinion, this is the minimum you need to do.
Other types of advertising require more. You need to research keywords, research questions being asked on the internet about those keywords, and write content that addresses those questions. And of course, you have to drive traffic to your advertising.
Summary
I realize there is not a lot of detail in this post. The intent of the post is to show you there is work involved in internet marketing. It may be very different than your 9 to 5 job but there is work.
