Getting help from your airline is never easy. Rather than sitting on the phone for a long time and listening to it, there is a better way: send a message to your airline on Twitter. However, if you want to make travel plans with Delta Air Lines, there is only one problem. Delta Air Lines recently stopped customer service inquiries via social media. Instead, the airline is instructing passengers to use its messaging chat feature on its website or Delta Airlines Book a Flight app. Although not perfect, this option works very effectively, enabling you to chat back and forth with Delta agents instead of waiting for a long time.
How to access the Delta Messaging function?
There are two ways to send messages to Delta: in the website’s chat pane or via Delta’s mobile app. On the website, you have to wait for the agent's final reply on your computer. However, if you use the app to send a text message to Delta when the agent is ready, you only need to receive a text message on your phone.
To use the Delta SMS function, you should have the Delta Airlines mobile app. Once you have the app, select the "More" option on the bottom menu bar.
Here, you will see a list of menu items. Scroll all the way to the bottom, and you will see the last option is: "Leave a message for us.” When you are ready to start a customer service conversation, click this button.
After selecting the "Send us a message" option, your phone will take you from the Delta app to a new text message in the Messaging app. Messaging Delta airlines is like texting a person on your contact list!
The message screen will be blank, so at the beginning, just write down your question or need help. The process starts automatically, allowing you to answer some multiple-choice questions to see if it can handle your inquiry without forwarding you to an agent. You can also expect to call Delta Airlines Telefono for more information.
