Reasons Why I'm Inactive Lately
After four days of being absent here, I am back, finally! Yes, it has been four long days, and if I'm not mistaken, this has been the longest absence that I made. Aside from being busy with work and as a "tita", another reason why I chose not to post anything here is the lack of interest in this platform. Unlike before, I can come up with topics to write. Now, I have nothing. My mind can no longer come up with something, and the more I force myself to think, the more I lose my interest here. I'm not quitting (yet), but I don't think I can stay as active as before. Here are some of the reasons why: *Less interaction* Writing is fun, but without interaction, then that's a different story. Unlike before, you can see that everyone is trying their best to interact to earn more points. Now, most of the people who used to interact with me are no longer here. I don't blame them, though. I understand that we all have a life, too, other than this. I barely interact as well, so I guess that's fair enough. Still, I miss the old read.cash where you could see lots of fun people in your notification. *More crypto-related posts* No offense to those who are posting crypto-related articles, but if you've been writing this niche way before this bot came into our lives, well, then you are exempted from this. However, there are a few people that I know of, who stopped posting the stuff they used to publish here. Instead, they post more about crypto and more crypto almost every post they make. It's like I'm seeing all crypto news now and then. Again, NO OFFENSE. *I miss the old reward system* The bot was once generous to me. He was during my first week and even on my 2nd week too. But after that and even up to this moment, he isn't the same bot I used to know. LOL. I miss the old system, too. Before, even if I only had earned between $1-$3 a day, I was really happy and contented back then. I always got excited to check my bank, too, and every day, I got to transfer everything right away to my wallet no matter how big or small the amount was. Now, I seldom receive anything from the bot anymore. *Quite disappointed with the platform* Sorry, read.cash, but unfortunately, I am quite disappointed in you. Your "no plagiarism" policy is only applicable for articles outside your own vicinity. There are so many cases wherein some users have been stealing articles from other writers here, and yet they still earn something or even more from those stolen articles. That shouldn't be the case in the first place. Any posts, regardless of where they stole it, shouldn't be monetized or deemed as EXC. That way, these users will learn to write on their own rather than stealing articles anywhere. Busy bee outside this platform As I've mentioned above, I've also been very busy with work, babysitting my nephew, helping my other nieces and nephew with their school assignments, as well as being a furmom to 4 of my furry legged babies, so it's really hard to focus on something when you are preoccupied already.
Despite all of these, I will still stay on this platform no matter what. The only difference is that I won't be active as before and will only use this platform whenever I have something to share or write. Besides, I'm also hunting for a better client, so I really can't spend more time here. I feel that way too, sometimes I'm no longer motivated to write. But since I really like to write, I can't help myself from writing lol. As for the interaction thingy, you are right about that. But there are still genuine writers out there who still interacts with others. I can still exchange a handful of comments with other writers, so less interaction doesn't matter.

You are right friend, I understand you perfectly because I have the same feeling, it no longer causes me to write as before and I occupy myself in other activities.
Yes, sadly, I just lose the will to write here.. But will try to be active again.. Hopefully, I can manage coz there's just so many things to do in the real world, especially coz this online class is a lot to take.
i'm sorry you feel that way. if it makes any difference, i started before the new bot system and wrote an article about personal growth under my old username (pusher). my plan is to write part 2 of that series hopefully this weekend. i'm also experimenting by creating video content for my posts. it's an opportunity to learn new skills and to improve my publishing skills. i would encourage you to do the same! i'll disagree with you about the old points rewards system because clearly there is a lot less spam now and in general, the quality of most new articles is higher than before. As a new author to this platform, i never expected instant success. i would understand your perspective since it probably feels like you are starting all over again. Please note that i still see lots of non-crypto articles written, and i have subscribed to several such authors. i can suggest a few if you would like. in fact, i have subscribed to a poet who has received a tip or two from the bot. however, the new system definitely needs improvement, because i see so many high-quality articles that do not receive a single cent from the bot. you are a good writer, and i would encourage you to continue creating good articles. that's probably the best approach to monetizing your content on this platform moving forward while the tipping algorithm continues to improve (hopefully).
Sorry for the reply.. I never thought I would last 11 days not checking this platform.. Anyway, it's good to be back.. I hope I can write something today.. It has been almost 2 weeks of not doing anything here.. Was just too busy in the real world that I had no time to check any of my social media accounts and this.

Same here, As I have mentioned in my very first post, I am a busy man so I post whenever I have time. I just come and interact when I don't have something to publish and reads other articles.
Been out for almost 2 weeks and hopefully this time, I can start writing again here.. I was just focused on the real world lately..
Sorry to see this is not happening for you @bmjc98 . I think you are doing well in Blue Fire? This is actually just another option for me to post here in order to have wider exposure. I think if you are looking for local community that talks to each other happily, I don't think here's the place. Too many people are still coming here to post for the sake of earning some bch cash. lol.
Not active in blue fire.. I also stopped using social media.. Honestly, I've been anti-social lately.
It is always good to have some alone time. I actually have been working a lot closer with NGOs of late just to keep my mind off from "socialising" and overcome writer's block. Hiatus is good from social media once a while. It'll give you a clearer mind. I even stopped writing on HIVE of late. But I do hope that some of my "less crypto related discoveries" will find it entertaining for you in the future. Keep your chin up. You still have family with you, and not many out there even have a family anymore. God bless and have a good weekend! Oh by the way, I think the random bot still exist, but a lot less active now.
