The Guy And His Feelings
He is 28, while I'm 33. He said he likes me a lot but my reaction was meh. I told him my reasons, but he asked me for a chance. I told him I can't coz it's gonna be a waste of time for both of us. But he insisted, so I said okay, fine. Told him I'll give him 1 month to change my mind and heart but never expect for something more coz deep down inside I know what I want. He said he just wants to show me how he feels, but if one day, it didn't change me a bit, then he'll respect my decision and will let go of me. Today, he gave me food and also gave me a plant. He also asked me to go out with him, but I refused because I have my reasons and that includes not spending time with him. Now, I'm kinda starting to regret my decision for giving him a chance, now he keeps coming back, and it annoys me a lot.

I think its good that you gave him a chance to show how much he loves you. I think there's nothing wrong with that. And I think he is a nice guy because he gave you a plant. My mom said that if a guy give you something that you can take care and make them grow it means that he has a pure heart and clean intention to you.
Yes, I think he is a nice guy but the problem is, when you like someone, you can't find any reason to like someone else.

If you don't feel anything for him or you don't want to have any relationship at the moment with anyone, then let him go, don't hurt him anymore. Put yourself in their place, I think you would not like that the person you are in love with or like would not appreciate the efforts you make to make him feel good and spend time getting to know each other. That is my honest opinion and without the intention of offending you, I am not judging you either (I am nobody to do it), I only teach you my point of view to help you make a decision 😊
