Ethereum Classic Suffers ANOTHER 51% Attack

Just yesterday, we reported that the Ethereum Classic (ETC) blockchain suffered a 51% attack.

Now, it’s been uncovered that another large 51% attack occurred, resulting in the reorganization of over 4,000 blocks.

At the moment, it is unknown whether any funds were lost. 

In light of the attack, Ethereum Classic developers are recommending all exchanges, mining pools, and service providers to significantly raise confirmation times on all deposits and incoming transactions.
