Eth 2.0's Final Testnet, Medalla is now live.
This is the final testnet before the launch of Ethereum 2.0, which will transition the Ethereum network from Proof-of-Work (PoW) to a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus algorithm.
The testnet has achieved the required amount of validators (20,000), allowing it to be justified and finalized.
At the time of writing, there are 20,808 validators with 663,325 ETH staked according to Beaconscan.
