Augur (REP) has completed its v2 upgrade. With this upgrade, a number of DeFi features have been introduced to the platform.
The upgrade addresses bugs and vulnerabilities present on the v1 platform, along with rules surrounding betting markets. as well as support for DeFi protocols.
Augur first came about back in 2015 as one of the first ICO’s, raising $5.3 million.
While it was seen as a proof-of-concept, the latest version has adapted to current developments in the space.
