Cagliari (and I suppose many mediterranean towns) is full of caper bushes. You can find a lot of them in the old building made of stones, like the ancient City Walls or, in this case, a medieval castle. Many people pick the capers, for example my mother's friend, and this is why I have capers from my town... in my refrigerator 😋
