Thinking things like the house needs to be cleaned or this shipping needs to be delivered already. That’s what most of us think what artificial Intelligence is! Right? So, let me break it to you that it’s actually not and it’s a more larger and bigger thing with immense applications.
Artificial Intelligence:
A strict definition according to the world’s largest encyclopedia, Britannica: -
“Artificial intelligence (AI), the ability of a digital computer or computer-controlled robot to perform tasks commonly associated with intelligent beings. The term is frequently applied to the project of developing systems endowed with the intellectual processes characteristic of humans, such as the ability to reason, discover meaning, generalize, or learn from past experience.”
Keeping this aside. In simple and plain terms artificial Intelligence is the latest advancement in software technology that enables computers to automatically and even learn i.e. it adapts. Nonetheless, it is not an evil entity or anything like that. It is the most useful and smart invention.
Uses:
Now that we have got a fair idea of What artificial Intelligence is and what it’s working is exactly. We can dive deep into the various applications that artificial has and also the ones that it may possibly bear to have in the near or the possible future. Generally speaking AI has application in every sphere of our lives. Today we are using Artificial intelligence for Calculating and executing huge algorithms, accelerating tiny sub atomic particles, keeping track of groceries providing Optical Character Recognitions and the list goes on and on. In most of the big places all of its various modules are combined.
For the Wildlife:
First the Industrial Revolution I then in sequence the Industrial Revolution II, Mass Colonization, post reconnaissance development and then the rapid and stunning technological advancements. All of these, no doubt, were a great service to humanity and led to massive development of the mankind and also increase in their populations by the exponential sums. Unfortunately, this bloom proved to be disastrous for the Mother Earth. Not only in terms of the depletion or corruption of the bounties that come out of its bowels but also for its morphology. The thing that suffered the most was the wildlife. May it be climate change making the habitat disoriented the ozone depletion resulting in radiation, the acid rain causing poising and erosion or so on. Everything devastated our fellows and the lesser living beings on our planet which were dependent on us and were our responsibility. May it be the flora or the fauna, int the rivers, lakes, seas and oceans or on the land in deserts, glaciers, plains and forests. All have suffered a great plight due this technological advancement and development.
Now, however, things are going a different way. Technology has shown a different and a good perspective in the form of Artificial Intelligence. The best invention has shown multiple applications in Wildlife. It can be said that Artificial Intelligence has now given out a call, this time “For the Wildlife”.
Conservation and Resurrection Both:
A lot has been already lost by the nature and what remains is being lost at a very rapid rate. So, the first priority, no doubt, is to curb that menace and stop brutal butchery. In addition to that this new approach of using technology and especially Artificial Intelligence. This possible because with Artificial Intelligence we can accomplish things that were traditionally not even imaginable. This became possible because Artificial Intelligence has practical applictions in wildlife that are simply revolutionary. Many different aspects of the Artificial Intelligence has also filled the lacunae and closed the loopholes in the old versions of the wildlife help or conservation programs that were already in practice. It has also given rise countless new and unmatched projects for the wildlife.
