,,And round about the throne [were] four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold. And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and [there were] seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God."

                                                                                          Rev. 4: 4-5

“And around the throne were twenty-four thrones; and on the thrones I saw twenty-four elders sitting, clothed in white robes, and having crowns of gold on their heads. "

Based on the text from the second book of the Diary, we find out who these twenty-four elders are. The text says that David divided the priestly order into twenty-four orders, and each order was to serve for two weeks in Solomon's temple. The Lord Jesus did not come to earth. In Luke's Gospel we read about the father of John the Baptist, Zariah, who was from the eighth order of Abijah.

,, There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife [was] of the daughters of Aaron, and her name [was] Elisabeth.”

                                                                                         Luke 1: 5

.Since there were many priests and they could not all serve at once, they divided them into twenty-four orders from each order, one was chosen to serve. And these twenty-four were representatives of the entire priestly order.

,, And David distributed them, both Zadok of the sons of Eleazar, and Ahimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their offices in their service. And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and [thus] were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar [there were] sixteen chief men of the house of [their] fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers. Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors [of the house] of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar. And Shemaiah the son of Nethaneel the scribe, [one] of the Levites, wrote them before the king, and the princes, and Zadok the priest, and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar, and [before] the chief of the fathers of the priests and Levites: one principal household being taken for Eleazar, and [one] taken for Ithamar. Now the first lot came forth to Jehoiarib, the second to Jedaiah, The third to Harim, the fourth to Seorim, The fifth to Malchijah, the sixth to Mijamin, The seventh to Hakkoz, the eighth to Abijah, The ninth to Jeshua, the tenth to Shecaniah, The eleventh to Eliashib, the twelfth to Jakim, The thirteenth to Huppah, the fourteenth to Jeshebeab, The fifteenth to Bilgah, the sixteenth to Immer, The seventeenth to Hezir, the eighteenth to Aphses, The nineteenth to Pethahiah, the twentieth to Jehezekel, The one and twentieth to Jachin, the two and twentieth to Gamul, The three and twentieth to Delaiah, the four and twentieth to Maaziah. These [were] the orderings of them in their service to come into the house of the Lord, according to their manner, under Aaron their father, as the Lord God of Israel had commanded him.”

                                                                                            1 Chron.24: 3-19

The text we are studying refers to the church of Christ in heaven for which it is written:

,, He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment, ..."

                                                                                             Rev. 3: 5

,, But ye [are] a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; ..."

                                                                                             1 Pet.2: 9

and these twenty-four elders are clothed in the righteousness of Christ and have crowns on their heads. bodies that are crowned, trained and seated. Jesus commanded the victorious, saved or born again believers;

,, To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.”

                                                                                             Rev. 3:21

It is further written that they have crowns on their heads, which are actually the awards they received at the court of Christ. Only the faithful will appear at this court and they will receive awards in the form of crowns.

,, For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things [done] in [his] body, according to that he hath done, whether [it be] good or bad.”

                                                                                             2 Cor.5: 10

The apostle Paul writes about this:

,, I have fought a good fight, I have finished [my] course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. "

                                                                                            2 Tim.4: 7-8

And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

                                                                                            Revelation 5: 9

So it clearly says and we can conclude that this is a church because it says that they are from "every generation and language and people and tribe," in heaven which means that there are more than twenty-four and we can say that they are "twenty-four representatives of the whole church "as were the twenty-four elder representatives of the whole priestly order we have mentioned earlier.

It goes on to say:

"And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunders and voices; "Since the church is in heaven, we continue to read about the throne from which" lightning and thunder and voices erupted; "and it refers to a court that is ready for the earth. While the church was on earth, this throne was a throne of grace,

,, Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.“

                                                                                             Hebrews 4:16

for us, it is still the throne of grace because the events we are talking about are just ahead of us. But since John is in heaven, he practically speaks from the perspective of the future when the Church has already been taken to heaven. from which "lightning and thunder and voices erupted;". Here the description is similar to that at Sinai when God showed his holiness and righteousness by which lightning, thunder and voices were heard: Here is a description:

,, And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that [was] in the camp trembled. And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.”

                                                                                            Exodus 19: 16-17

Here we read that Moses brought out the people who were frightened before God in front of the mountain, and here we have the "throne of judgment" from which lightning and thunder and voices come out; "and when that happens, the people who are on earth will also be terrified of what is to come.

Before the judgment, God always shows mercy by warning because he does not like the "dear death" of anyone and that is why he says:

,, For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord God: wherefore turn [yourselves], and live ye.”

                                                                                            Ezek.18: 32

We are still able to see the rainbow, so the trial has not started yet, but if someone persistently refuses mercy, lightning and thunder and voices follow; ".

"We have seen the glory of God on the throne, and now we see, and the seven flames of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven spirits of God." A saint who is one but His completeness is described here.

 Isaiah writes of Jesus:

,, And the spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord;”

                                                                                                  Isa 11: 2

In several other places the number seven is mentioned in connection with the Holy Spirit.

,, And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all [of] gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which [are] upon the top thereof: And two olive trees by it, one upon the right [side] of the bowl, and the other upon the left [side] thereof. And two olive trees by it, one upon the right [side] of the bowl, and the other upon the left [side] thereof. So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What [are] these, my lord? Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord. Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This [is] the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts. Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone [thereof with] shoutings, [crying], Grace, grace unto it. Moreover the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the Lord of hosts hath sent me unto you. For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel [with] those seven; they [are] the eyes of the Lord, which run to and fro through the whole earth.”

                                                                                                  Zech.4: 2-10

Here we conclude from the sixth verse that it is the Holy Spirit, "not by power or virtue but by my Spirit," says the Lord of hosts.

,, And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.”

                                                                                                 Revelation 5: 6

Here we have seven spirits and seven eyes relating to the seven aspects of the work of the Holy Spirit who brings us God's grace, so Paul was able to write in 1 Corinthians:

,, Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another [divers] kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues: But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will. For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also [is] Christ.”

                                                                                                1 Cor.12: 4-12

The Holy Spirit was previously revealed as a dove, a wind, or a Comforter, and now we see in Revelation that he appears as "the seven fiery fiery ones." Fire is a symbol of judgment and seven is the number of perfection, which means are unfaithful. Today the Holy Spirit is in the Church and the fact that he is in the Church is the reason that the judgment on earth has not yet begun but one day the Church will be taken and then the judgment will follow, just and perfect.

,, For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth [will let], until he be taken out of the way.”

                                                                                                  2 Thess.2: 7

The Holy Spirit is still in the Church and the call is still there and will do so until the Church is taken.

,, For God hath put in their hearts to fulfil his will, and to agree, and give their kingdom unto the beast, until the words of God shall be fulfilled.”
