,, And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;”

                                                                                                      Rev. 3: 7

"And write to the angel of the Philadelphia church: Thus saith the Holy and True," In Philadelphia at that time there were both false and untrue gods, so the letter to the Philadelphia church Jesus begins by mentioning two attributes of God possessed only by the true God and no one else because the true God cannot be compared to anyone, and that is why God addressed and presented himself to the Israelites with the words:

,, To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One.”

                                                                                                     Isa.40: 25

,, For I [am] the Lord your God: ye shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and ye shall be holy; for I [am] holy:”

                                                                                                     Levit.11:44

,, For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity, whose name [is] Holy;”

                                                                                                      Isa.57: 15

Apart from the fact that Jesus says that he is holy, he also says that he is True. was God.God is holy and True and about this Jesus said:

,,… To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth ...."

                                                                                                      John 18:37

,,… I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

                                                                                                      John 14: 6

,, And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.”

                                                                                                      John 17: 3

We see here that Jesus is True, so we can freely say that he is the same Lord of the Old Testament who appeared to the Israelites as Holy. Here in these verses Jesus says that He is Holy and True and He appears not only to the church in Philadelphia but also to us to we know him well and believe in the words that God Jesus himself gave us.

,, And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, [even] in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”

                                                                                                    1 Job 5:20

"Who has the key of David, who opens and no one closes, who closes and no one opens." Here we have verses that appear in the prophet Isaiah that read

,, And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open.”

                                                                                                   Isa.22: 22

At the beginning of this chapter it is written that God will give his prophets visions for the future

,, The burden of the valley of vision”

                                                                                                   Isa.22: 1

,, For [it is] a day of trouble, and of treading down, and of perplexity by the Lord God of hosts in the valley of vision, breaking down the walls, and of crying to the mountains.”

                                                                                                   Isa.22: 5

and they refer to Jerusalem and the situation in which Jerusalem was because the Assyrian army had already marched on Israel, we can read further

,, And in that day did the Lord God of hosts call to weeping, and to mourning, and to baldness, and to girding with sackcloth: And behold joy and gladness, slaying oxen, and killing sheep, eating flesh, and drinking wine: let us eat and drink; for to morrow we shall die.”

                                                                                                   Isa.22: 12-13

At that time, the leader of Israel was Somna, who was the treasurer of the king's treasure and who was very careless, but the Lord told him that he would take his position and hand him over to Eliakim the son of Hilkiah. he was the one who had the right to rule the house of David he was the one who could open and close whenever he wanted and this was actually a prophecy for Christ.

,, Thus saith the Lord God of hosts, Go, get thee unto this treasurer, [even] unto Shebna, which [is] over the house, [and say], What hast thou here? and whom hast thou here, that thou hast hewed thee out a sepulchre here, [as] he that heweth him out a sepulchre on high, [and] that graveth an habitation for himself in a rock? Behold, the Lord will carry thee away with a mighty captivity, and will surely cover thee. He will surely violently turn and toss thee [like] a ball into a large country: there shalt thou die, and there the chariots of thy glory [shall be] the shame of thy lord's house. And I will drive thee from thy station, and from thy state shall he pull thee down. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will call my servant Eliakim the son of Hilkiah: And I will clothe him with thy robe, and strengthen him with thy girdle, and I will commit thy government into his hand: and he shall be a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Judah. And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder; so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open. And I will fasten him [as] a nail in a sure place; and he shall be for a glorious throne to his father's house.”

                                                                                                  Isa.22: 15-23

From this we can see that Jesus is the One who has the power and the right to rule over Israel and also over the whole universe and even over us who live in this time. Jesus is the "Door" and it is open to anyone who voluntarily wants to accept Him "Behold, I have given thee an open door before thee," and the key is salvation through Christ, and to whom it is "unlocked" by this key no one can "lock" it anymore, nor to whom it is "locked" no one can "unlock." The only one who can unlock and lock is the Lord Jesus, and whether he will unlock or lock someone depends on the people, because Jesus will not force anyone to "unlock" or "lock" anyone. People voluntarily accept Jesus and also if they reject Him. they choose the path to hell themselves. Only through Jesus can man come to God and there are no other ways.

,, Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

                                                                                                  John 14: 6

and there is also no other name by which people can be saved

,, Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.”

                                                                                                  Acts 4:12

"Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it," said the Lord Jesus to the church in Philadelphia, so He opened the door of preaching to them, opened the way for them to spread the gospel, in other words, gave Himself. for they were to preach the good news, and it spoke precisely of Jesus Christ.

The Apostle Paul prayed for this

,, Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds:”

                                                                                                  Col.4: 3

and also wrote the following on this topic:

,, For a great door and effectual is opened unto me, and [there are] many adversaries.”

                                                                                                 1 Cor.16: 9

,, Furthermore, when I came to Troas to [preach] Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,”

                                                                                                 2 Cor.2: 12
