,, "I, Jesus, have sent My angel to testify to you these things in the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star." And the Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" And let him who thirsts come. And whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.“

                                                                                                     Rev. 22: 16-17

“I sent Jesus my angel to testify to you in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright star Danica. "

Before the birth of Jesus, the angel said to Joseph:

,, "And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins."”

                                                                                                    Mt.1: 21

In our study so far, we have seen that the Lord Jesus is the only Savior, so let's say that the Name Jesus means Savior from sin. Jesus was preached and written by prophets many years before His "birth" on earth. Jesus was born with the name of the Savior, died on the cross as Savior, sent the Holy Spirit after the resurrection and through John gave us the Word that reveals to us the panorama of future events all the way to eternity.

Jesus said:

"I have sent my angel Jesus to testify unto you these things in the churches."

to see and know that I am the source of God's revelation and truth and also said:

,, Then he said to me, "These words are faithful and true." And the Lord God of the holy prophets sent His angel to show His servants the things which must shortly take place.”

                                                                                                    Rev. 22: 6

Everything that He revealed to us through John was published with authority and confirmation that it will be as it was published and something like that can only be said by someone who is God, someone who knows exactly what will be and who controls everything otherwise if it were not so it would be written as a man can write, "maybe it will be, it should be or it is in the plan, so if the dice are put together", etc. Nowhere such a thing is written, but it is authoritatively stated what will be and how it will be, it will be soon. ". None of us can say that because we don't know what is planned for the future, we don't know what can interfere with what we are planning, etc. The claim as written in the Bible and in Revelation can only be said by God who knows what has been, what is now and what will be in the future.

"I am Jesus" can say that because He is the Savior, the Lord and God.

Everything that John wrote is not his, but it is

,, The Revelation of Jesus Christ…”

                                                                                                    Rev. 1: 1

The very beginning of Revelation gives us the information that John is a servant who only transmitted what was revealed by the Lord Jesus Christ, and John was supposed to testify to that in the churches. And here is the complete beginning of Revelation:

,, The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave Him to show His servants--things which must shortly take place. And He sent and signified it by His angel to His servant John,“

                                                                                                    Rev. 1: 1

The Lord Jesus goes on to say:

"I am the root and the offspring of David,"

Here we have the revelation that Jesus is the eternal God because "I am" is the name for the eternal God, so "I am" the one who was, who is and who will be and also says that he is "the family of David" which indicates that he is a "man."

As the eternal God and Creator, Jesus is before David, He created David, but also everything else, because he has no beginning like David and also no end like David. He is the Creator and Omnipotent:

,, For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist.”

                                                                                                  Col. 1: 16-17

As a "man" He is a kindred to David in the flesh, He has a mother in the flesh but no earthly father, Mary gave birth to him as a "man" and not as a deity and the mother is in the flesh and according to the Deity Jesus has no mother but the source "of His Deity in God the Father.

We know all this because it was revealed to us in the Bible and we as human beings ourselves would never know this. Here is what the Lord Jesus said about revelations from God:

,, And Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God. Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven."

                                                                                                 Mt.16: 16-17

,, "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him."”

                                                                                                 John 14:21

Revelations from God the Father through the Son make people wonder and admire because things are revealed that would not even occur to a normal person:

,, "For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel.”

                                                                                                Job. 5:20

Here is an example of David that we mentioned. While the Lord Jesus was on earth, he posed a "riddle" to the Pharisees who did not believe that He was Jehovah's Lord.

,, While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them, saying, "What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?" They said to Him, "The Son of David." He said to them, "How then does David in the Spirit call Him 'Lord,' saying: 'The Lord said to my Lord, "Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool" '? "If David then calls Him 'Lord,' how is He his Son?" And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore.”

                                                                                              Mt.22: 41-46

By divine nature Jesus is the "root of David" but by human nature He is the "offspring of David". His mother is by human nature from the generation of David.

Jesus is the God-Man:

,, which He promised before through His prophets in the Holy Scriptures, concerning His Son Jesus Christ our Lord, who was born of the seed of David according to the flesh, and declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the Spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead,”

                                                                                             Romans 1: 2-4

We know from the Bible that God is a Spirit and this was confirmed by Jesus when He was resurrected, in the flesh He is the seed of David and only such He can be our Savior.

The following reads:

                                                     "and the bright star Danica."

In the fourth book of Moses it is written that Balaam prophesied by the Holy Spirit:

,, "I see Him, but not now; I behold Him, but not near; A Star shall come out of Jacob; A Scepter shall rise out of Israel, and batter the brow of Moab, and destroy all the sons of tumult.”

                                                                                            Exodus 24:17

And the prophet Malachi:

,, But to you who fear My name the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go out and grow fat like stall-fed calves.”

                                                                                                     Malachi 4: 2

In the time in which we live, Jesus is the star of Danica because we live in very dark times, and when he comes in glory, he will be the Sun of Justice.

The Apostle Peter says about this dark time that we have the most reliable prophetic Word that "saw" and we know that the end is near, so whoever watches the prophetic Word "star Danica" has hope that the Lord Jesus Christ will come for the Church and grow more and more. more in "Videl" until "dawn" until "Sun of Justice" appears

,, We also have the prophetic word made more sure, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;

                                                                                             2 Peter 1:19

"Both the Spirit and the bride say, 'Come.' And let him that heareth say, Come. "

The Lord Jesus said:

,, "And behold, I am coming quickly …”

                                                                                             Rev. 22:12

and here we see the answer of the Holy Spirit and the bride or the Church of Christ who say:

                                                                      ,,Come over. "

Before going to heaven, the Lord Jesus said that He would send a "Comforter" or the Holy Spirit to be with "us" and He is with "us" from the day of the Spirits to the present day and will be with us in the future as long as we are here on earth. and He is our "Teacher" and "Comforter". He leads us and punishes us. there comes a time when that will change as well.

Then the Lord Jesus said:

,, And the LORD said, "My Spirit shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years."”

                                                                                              Gen. 6: 3

and today we can say that the age of grace will soon end and then the judgment will follow as we have seen in previous studies. Until then, the Holy Spirit works and He does not speak for himself or for himself but for Christ and His desire is for everyone to acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ and for everyone to see that Jesus is the Lord and the only Savior.

The Church of Christ or the Bride knows that the Lord Jesus is the only Savior, and that includes all those who are born again, and that is all those who, by "living faith" in their hearts, connect with the risen Christ when they love.

Here's what it says about "winners"

,, For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones.”

                                                                                               Eph.5: 30

"For everyone who is born of God conquers the world; and faith is our victory that overcomes the world. Who is the world that overcomes except he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? "

                                                                                              1 Job, 5: 4-5

and these are those who want the prayer "Our Father" to be fulfilled, in which it is also written:

,,Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

                                                                                              Matthew 6:10

In our text we see that the Spirit and the bride say "Come" together and that is because the Holy Spirit "lives in the bride of Christ" and while we are here on earth the Church is the "bride" and the wedding is in heaven when the Lord Jesus takes The church at home.

"And let him that heareth say, Come."

Everyone who listens to Christ and His words has the desire for Christ to come because it is the culmination of our redemption and this hope has protected the Church through the centuries from the world and sin that was and is now aware that our "complete salvation" is in Christ's coming.

,, For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. And not only they, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.”

                                                                                              Rom.8: 22-23

And immediately below, the Lord Jesus calls again to those who are not saved and says:

"And let him who is thirsty come, and let him who is thirsty take the water of life for free."

This call of the Lord Jesus has been valid for almost two thousand years, and as long as there is "time", it will be valid, and while the Lord Jesus was on earth, He told the Samaritan woman, and that applies to practically everyone;

,, Jesus answered and said to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."”

                                                                                              John 4:10

And then in the continuation of the conversation Jesus says to her:

,, Jesus answered and said to her, "Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again,”

                                                                                              John 4:13

Jesus practically said that anyone who drinks anywhere other than "His source of living water" will thirst again or in other words, all that the world and Satan offer are "other sources" and do not bring eternal life but often death and that is why Jesus says:

,, "but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life."

                                                                                             John 4:14

"and whoever wants to, let him take the water of life for free"

The Lord Jesus Christ does not force anyone to do anything here, we clearly see that He says that "whoever wants can take the water of life for free" he should not pay anything, he should not do or do anything except come voluntarily and "take the water of life ".

Everything is therefore "for free" and eternal life and forgiveness of sins and the Holy Spirit and heaven, nothing should be paid for anything because we humans have nothing to pay God for anything, everything that was needed God did, the Lord Jesus out of great love, he finished everything that was needed "on the cross", although he was not guilty of anything, only that we sinners would get the "water of life" "for free".

This is a great grace and grace and everyone should:

"take the water of life for free"

The call is still valid.
