,, But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This [is] the first resurrection. Blessed and holy [is] he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.”

                                                                                             Rev. 20: 5-6

"... she shall reign with him a thousand years."

We have reached today the work for which the Church has been loved for almost two thousand years:

,, Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven.”

                                                                                                        Matthew 6:10

and of course this has not yet been fulfilled and according to the signs of the times found in the Bible this time is very close although this may sound like science fiction this is something the Bible suggests and it will then surely “come” and be fulfilled. It is the kingdom of which the disciples asked the Lord Jesus Christ:

,, When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?”

                                                                                                Acts 1: 6

Here God did not rebuke them because they were asking about "fantasies or something like that" but told them:

,, And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.”

                                                                                                Acts 1: 7

and this confirms that it is not some "fantasies" but that it is a plan of God that will be fulfilled at the time when it is determined and in Revelation in the twentieth chapter the word "thousand years" is mentioned as many as six times and it is sufficient proof that it is not something fictional but something very important (verses two to seven)

According to what is written in the Bible and what we have already studied, Christ should come visibly and gloriously before the beginning of the Millennium, that is, before the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom.

Since these are future events, and in order to see even more clearly that everything promised in the Bible will be fulfilled, even the millennial kingdom, we need to "go through" some of God's promises in the Bible that confirm that God is fulfilling what He says that we will see that some promises have already been fulfilled in the distant or recent past, and that some will be fulfilled in the future.

God has given many promises to Abraham and the people of Israel, so we will mention just a few:

Abraham was to leave his father's house and his country and go to the land that God gives him, and there he will become a great and glorified people, and these are the promises that have been fulfilled historically.

,, In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness [was] upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.”

                                                                                                 Gen. 12: 1-2

God has promised that Abraham's people will never disappear in the flesh.

,, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day [that] I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, saith the Lord: But this [shall be] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the Lord, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Thus saith the Lord, which giveth the sun for a light by day, [and] the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divideth the sea when the waves thereof roar; The Lord of hosts [is] his name: If those ordinances depart from before me, saith the Lord, [then] the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever. Thus saith the Lord; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, saith the Lord.”

                                                                                                Jeremiah 31: 31-37

Since the moon and stars still exist today, the proof is that God's covenant is still in force.

It was also prophesied that the people of Israel would be expelled from their country but would return, and this was fulfilled when they received the state of Israel in 1948.

,, And it shall come to pass, [that] as the Lord rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the Lord will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it. And the Lord shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, [even] wood and stone. And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the Lord shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life: In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. And the Lord shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy [you].”

                                                                                              Deut. 28: 63-68

,, When I have brought them again from the people, and gathered them out of their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations; Then shall they know that I [am] the LORD their God, which caused them to be led into captivity among the heathen: but I have gathered them unto their own land, and have left none of them any more there.”

                                                                                              Ezekiel 39: 27-28

God promised David a son and an eternal kingdom (2 Sam. 7)

,, And when thy days be fulfilled, and thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, I will set up thy seed after thee, which shall proceed out of thy bowels, and I will establish his kingdom.”

                                                                                              2 Sam.7: 12

,, But I will settle him in mine house and in my kingdom for ever: and his throne shall be established for evermore.”

                                                                                             1 Chronicles 17:14

We clearly see that the kingdom will be "forever", but it is also prophesied that the kingdom will be without a throne and a king for a long time.

,, For the children of Israel shall abide many days without a king, and without a prince, and without a sacrifice, and without an image, and without an ephod, and [without] teraphim: Afterward shall the children of Israel return, and seek the Lord their God, and David their king; and shall fear the Lord and his goodness in the latter days.”

                                                                                             Hosea 3: 4-5

and this promise will be fulfilled when the Lord Jesus comes to reign during the Millennial Kingdom. Before the conception and birth of the Lord Jesus on earth, the angel hinted to Mary:

,, And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.”

                                                                                              Lk: 1: 31-33

Here is what else is written about the reign of the Lord Jesus Christ in the book of Zechariah and Psalm seventy-two:

,, And the Lord shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.”

                                                                                             Zechariah 14: 9

,, He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.”

                                                                                             Ps 72: 8

It is God's plan for the Lord Jesus Christ to be the sovereign ruler who will rule this kingdom for a thousand years, as the name suggests, and this will be a kingdom with perfect living conditions, but we read in the Bible that the Millennial Kingdom will be the last. the temptation of humanity "before the transition to eternity because those who will not be born again in the Millennial Kingdom will still" rebel "from God. But when we get to those verses and now let's say that in the Millennial Kingdom those prophecies will be fulfilled which have been planned for that time and have not yet been fulfilled to this day because we are not yet in the Millennial Kingdom.

,, Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven, and [things] in earth, and [things] under the earth; And [that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ [is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

                                                                                              Phil.2: 6-11

,,
Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.”

                                                                                             Ps.2: 6-8

,, Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.”
