,, And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”

                                                                                     Rev. 19:16

"And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." which is in line with what the prophets of the Old Testament wrote.

In the beginning of Revelation it is written:

,,…  Behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the scroll and to loose its seven seals."

                                                                                    Rev.5: 5

and finally:

,,  …I am the Root and the Offspring of David,…”

                                                                                    Rev. 22:16

and on the occasion of hinting to Mary that she would give birth to Jesus, the angel said:

,, Then the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. "And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name Jesus. "He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David.”

                                                                                    Luke 1: 30-33

Here we need to pay special attention now, "and the Lord God will give him the throne of David his father," and then he continues, "And he shall reign in the house of Jacob forever, and his kingdom shall have no end."

What he writes has not yet been fulfilled and will be fulfilled in the future as it is written and that Jesus is the king was suggested by the sages when they asked:

,, saying, "Where is He who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the East and have come to worship Him."”

                                                                                           Matthew 2: 2

and later John the Baptist said:

,, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand!"”

                                                                                           Matthew 3: 2

John thinks of the same kingdom, which the prophet Daniel suggested:

,, "And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever.”

                                                                                   Daniel 2:44

When John lived, he was "close" to this kingdom, but the Israelites did not receive the King with remorse, and "blindness" fell on them for a while until the "time of the Church" ended, which means postponing the establishment of the kingdom. on the occasion the disciples asked Jesus:

,, "Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?"”

                                                                                  Acts 1: 6

and Jesus answered them,

,, And He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or seasons which the Father has put in His own authority.”;

                                                                                   Acts 1: 7

We read in our text that the Lord Jesus will come with the Church even then:

,, "When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.”

                                                                                    Matthew 25:31

that is why it says "King of kings and Lord of lords." and then Jesus will be King and until that time is over he has allowed "others" to rule and fulfill God's plan and when everything is done as God planned , writes the prophet Zechariah:

,, And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be--"the Lord is one," and His name one.”

                                                                                    Zechariah 14: 9

We read in verse fourteen:

,, And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen,…

                                                                                    Rev. 19:14

Here we note that it does not say that Jesus came with the "armies" at the time, but it says "they went", which means that it will be some time before Jesus comes to earth, "they followed Him". The answer to this question is given by the prophet. We have already seen that the last seventy of Danilo's weeks refers to seven years of great troubles.

,, Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; but in the middle of the week He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. and on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate."

                                                                                    Daniel 9:27

The Antichrist will make an "alliance" with Israel, and then in half of the great troubles he will declare war on Israel, and then Moses and Elijah will be killed, who will come to earth again, and then the Antichrist will still have power for three and a half years or forty-two months.

,, And he was given a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies, and he was given authority to continue for forty-two months.”

                                                                                    Rev. 13: 5

we have also seen that the Antichrist will abolish the sacrifice to the Jews after 1260 days or after three and a half years. But he also writes this:

,, "And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days.”

                                                                                    Daniel 12:11

and this means that we have thirty days left, and that will probably be another thirty days of grace, that is, thirty days from the appearance of the Lord Jesus with the "army" until the descent to earth, and that will be the last chance for the people who will be on earth to repent. .That will be the time, "And the armies of heaven followed him."

The Lord Jesus went to heaven from the Mount of Olives

,, who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven." Then they returned to Jerusalem from the Mount called Olivet, which is near Jerusalem, a Sabbath day's journey.”

                                                                                    Acts 1: 11-12

and from heaven he will return to her again

,, Behold, the day of the Lord is coming, And your spoil will be divided in your midst. For I will gather all the nations to battle against Jerusalem; the city shall be taken, the houses rifled, and the women ravished. Half of the city shall go into captivity, but the remnant of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then the Lord will go forth and fight against those nations, as He fights in the day of battle. And in that day His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives, which faces Jerusalem on the east. And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two, from east to west, making a very large valley; half of the mountain shall move toward the north and half of it toward the south.”

                                                                                   Zechariah 14: 1-4

And then, when he stops at the Mount of Olives, the time of the Gentiles will be over and the judgment of the earth will begin, and how long will the answer be given again by the prophet Daniel:

,, "Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.”

                                                                                   Daniel 12:12

We have seen that the great tribulations last for seven years, the second half of 1260 days, Christ "travels with the armies" for thirty days and that is 1290 days and Daniel gives us another 45 days and that will be the time of judgment for the living nations.

,, "Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.”

                                                                                   Daniel 12:12

And when he returns, the forgiveness will be "finally" fulfilled:

,, And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be--"the Lord is one," and His name one.”

                                                                                    Zechariah 14: 9

"King of kings and Lord of lords."
