,, And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Therefore rejoice, [ye] heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.“

                                                                                          Rev. 12: 10-12

In the previous text we read and saw that Satan with his army was "thrown down" to the earth and now we read below:

,,, And I heard a great voice in heaven saying, Now is the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the kingdom of Christ; for the fall of our brethren is fallen, which fell before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony;

Here we now see that Satan is a "brother-in-law" who is a "brother-in-law" before God, "day and night," but we studied that last time and saw that we have an advocate who defends us from these satanic attacks, and this is something that it happens throughout history because it says "day and night" and we are not exempt from these attacks and declines, and that will continue as long as we are on earth.

We have something very important in the text, it says, "And they defeated him with the blood of the Lamb" so Satan is strong and much more intelligent than us, he has a far greater ability to deceive and lie which he perfected during the millennium but he writes, "They also defeated him with the blood of the Lamb ". And those who are born again win and they do not win with some of their merit or some of their weapons, but it is clearly written

"And they overcame him with the blood of the Lamb" so that is the victory of Jesus won on the "cross". Today we still live in this world, on this earth and "the god of this world is Satan" who deceives all by offering us, , "baits", "the lusts of the flesh, and the lusts of the eyes, and the pride of life, ..." as it is written in 1 John 2:16

but he writes about this victory:

,, For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?”

                                                                                           1 Job 5: 4-5

and also writes about this:

,, We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.”

                                                                                           1 Job 5:18

And this does not mean that we are sinless, but it means that Satan has no power over us and that we defeat Satan with the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ, as it says, "And they overcame him with the blood of the Lamb."

,, For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”

                                                                                           Rom.6: 14

The only weapon in our fight against Satan is the "blood of Jesus Christ" and it is quite sufficient and nothing else is needed in that fight and "She" is the guarantor of victory over Satan and sin because he writes;

"And they overcame him with the blood of the Lamb."

,,... and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

       1 Job 1: 7

With this blood we win and the "redemption" is done and we now have free access to the Heavenly Sanctuary through the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

.. Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption [for us].”

                                                                                         Hebrews 9:12

So the most powerful and only weapon in the fight against Satan is the "blood of Jesus" and we continue to read that it says:

"and the word of his testimony"

John who writes this himself was thrown on Patmos and here is why:

,, I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.”

                                                                                         Rev. 1: 9

He was cast for "the word of God and for the testimony of Jesus Christ." The testimony of Jesus Christ means believing in the crucified Christ.

Revelation says:

"... for the testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy."

                                                                                         Rev. 19:10

And we could say this differently that the essence or core of all prophecies is Jesus Christ who comes in future glory and absolute victory. Every true believer should have the spirit of prophecy because he writes in the complete verse:

,, And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

                                                                                          Rev. 19:10

The Holy Spirit illuminates the Word for us so that we can understand it, and then we will understand future events, and he writes about it:

,, Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, [that] shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.”

                                                                                          John 16:13

and Carnic translates the last part of the verse, "and he will announce to you what is to come," or all the prophecies to be fulfilled concerning Christ's coming have been announced to us. The children of God rejoice in Christ's coming as well as the creation of which Paul speaks.

,, And not only [they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, [to wit], the redemption of our body.”

                                                                                          Rom.8: 23

It goes on to say, "And do not care for your life until death." This agrees with what the Lord Jesus said, because those who are Christ's live no more for themselves than for Him who died for them, and they "died." to Himself, to the world, to sin and to Satan ":

,, He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.“

                                                                                         John 12:25

,, Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.”

                                                                                         Mt.16: 24

Whoever takes the cross has a "plus" in his life because I am the sign of the cross, plus means gain, addition and that addition is Jesus Christ that addition is eternal life

And the "one" who follows Christ is Christ's, and that is why the apostle Paul could write:

,, For to me to live [is] Christ ..."

                                                                                         Philippians 1:21

those who laid everything on the altar of Jesus Christ are not afraid of anything, which is why the apostle Paul wrote:

,, But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.”

                                                                                          Acts 20:24

John continues, "and he doesn't care about his life until his death." And this is a strange "victory" according to the world

This victory can be witnessed by many believers from Adam to the present day who have offered their lives "without caring for him" because they believed in Jesus Christ who is "life and the source of life" and they received the "plus" we are talking about. they spoke, and so many in great tribulation will "overcome" and glorify God, and this is the "testimony of the word" of which John writes.

Next we can read what happened after the "overthrow of Satan"

"And I heard a great voice in heaven saying, Now is the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God, and the realm of his Christ ..." Woe unto you that dwell on earth and in the sea! For the devil is come down to you, and is very angry, knowing that there is little time.

For a long time, in addition to believers, all nature "sighed" because it was subject to decay, and here this part of the verse refers to nature that will be "rehabilitated" and "flourished" in the future kingdom. we also see that "Power" is celebrated because "Satan is overthrown" and the realm of the absolute God is expanded. And very "soon" the absolute power of God will be established on earth and Satan will no longer have any power and the Millennial Kingdom of Christ will be established.

That is why he writes:

"Therefore, rejoice in the heavens and you who live on them" there is already a celebration in Heaven and "soon" that celebration will spread to the earth, but until then "very little time" should pass and during that time it is written:

"Woe to you who live on land and sea, for the devil has come down to you, and is very angry, knowing that there is little time."

This will probably be the most terrible period of human history because Satan was "thrown down" from heaven and he is very angry and furious because of that he will probably gather all his army to harm the people who will be on earth then because he is incorrigible and it will not stop "terror" until it is thrown into the abyss for a thousand years.

,, And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.”

                                                                                           Rev. 20: 2-3

And before Satan was cast into the abyss, he wrote:

,, For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.”

                                                                                           Matthew 24: 21-22

What this difficult time brings is written in the continuation of Revelation, so we will see it next time.
