,, And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them. And their dead bodies [shall lie] in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. And they of the people and kindreds and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves. And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth. And after three days and an half the Spirit of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.”

                                                                                     Rev. 11: 7-13

Last time we saw who the two saints were and what kind of power they would have, but we read further, "And when they have finished their testimony, then the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and will defeat them and kill them." before that, "And when they have finished their testimony," God reveals that Moses and Elijah will be killed by the "Beast", ie by the Antichrist, who will wage a "war" with them and on that occasion will defeat and kill them. It is important to note here that no one could do anything to them until they completed the mission for which they came, so no one had authority over them because God protected them because they fulfilled God's plan and now that the mission is over God allows the Antichrist to kill them. Jerusalem

"where our Lord would be crucified" which means that God controls the whole situation and that nothing happens by accident. Confirmation of this is the death of the Lord Jesus on the cross. In the Bible we read that many wanted and tried to kill Jesus but no one He did not have it until the right time came. Only then was He crucified, but then Jesus said:

                                                     ,,… It is finished…”

                                                                             John 19:30

in other words, now is the right time, not when you wanted or wanted it to be.

And now this seemed like a great victory and as a triumph and proof of their superiority we read the following:

"And they will leave their bodies in the streets of the great city, which is spiritually called Sodom and Egypt, where our Lord would be crucified." By this act, the Antichrist and the people in power at that time wanted to "send a message" to see how those who oppose the Antichrist pass and that everyone will be killed if they do not obey the system of that time. if it is so called it means that the spirit of Sodom and Egypt is deeply rooted and that the people who live there practice world standards inspired by Satan.

In this case, we have something similar to when the Lord Jesus was killed. We know that the Lord Jesus was killed, then buried, but that the "grave" could not "keep" him, but he was resurrected and came out of the grave. it would not have happened that the bodies of Moses and Elijah were left unburied. And this act will be a reason for some people to celebrate because we read:

"And some of the people, and of the people, and of the tongue, and of the knees, shall see their bodies three days and a half, and shall not suffer their bodies to be buried." And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice, and be glad for them, and shall send gifts one to another; for these two prophets torment them that dwell upon the earth.

Here again, we have proof of human corruption, hatred and how much evil lives in them when they will celebrate the death of two people because they will not do what "religion and the world" dictate, but will have the mission to turn the lost people to the true God.

At that time, this news will "go around the world with ease" because technology and communications will allow this kind of news, and today in a few hours it would be "breaking news" on all world media, so even then it will be so that many will join the whole world in celebration and victory, they will even send gifts to each other in that "honor"

But we continue to read about the "shock" that will follow first those who will be there and then "the news will hit the whole world again" but now different and they will probably never think of "celebrating and sharing gifts" again. among themselves celebrating the murder of God's witnesses.

"And after three days and a half the spirit of life from God entered into them; and they both stood upon their feet, and great fear fell upon those who beheld them. And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come forth hither. And they went up to heaven in the clouds, and their enemies saw them.

We see from the text that they no longer celebrate but are overwhelmed by "great fear" because all this is happening before their eyes, Moses and Elijah are resurrected in front of everyone, no one will be able to say that "someone stole someone" or something like that , now they have the confirmation of Jesus' resurrection and ascension. Then further in the text it is written that the Lord calls Moses and Elijah to heaven and they hear it. "And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come ye hither." everything takes place in front of probably a large number of people who will be there and since it will be the age of technology and in front of a large number of televisions and various channels that will follow and broadcast the events live, so it says, "And they went up to heaven in the clouds. . "

Here at the end of the sentence it says, "and their enemies saw them." We can easily understand this because this is what we can see every day from various places around the world, it is enough to just turn on the TV or a computer and in John's time it was not But he writes something else: "and great fear attacks those who watched them." and this fear will spread very quickly around the world because practically "everyone will find out" about current events because the broadcasts will be live.

So Moses and Elijah will go to the Lord in heaven in front of an "audience of millions" and the "world" will be in fear and wonder, but it doesn't end there, but we read immediately afterwards:

"And at that moment the earth shook greatly, and the tenth part of the city fell, and the earthquake shook seven thousand names of men; and the rest were afraid, and gave glory to the God of heaven. "

While the "world" is in wonder and fear of the events they saw, we read about God's punishment that came to Jerusalem because it "received" the Antichrist, his spirit and norms of behavior. "And the tenth part of the city fell," the tenth part of the city was destroyed, and now God restores them and reminds them of the prophet Malachi:

,, Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye [are] cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, [even] this whole nation.”

                                                                                  Mal.3: 8-9

And at the end of the sentence it says that "seven thousand human names" were killed and these are probably significant "names and people" of politicians who will have the main say in world relations at that time and then a star from show business, athletes, actors, musicians of that time that would gather in Jerusalem that day to be seen by Moses and Elijah, "those who watched them," or perhaps to celebrate. If it were only ordinary citizens, only "seven thousand people" would write.

And since this will probably be a "live broadcast", the news and the image from the scene will spread quickly and the effect of all this is: "and the rest were afraid, and gave glory to the God of heaven."

The Bible says that the Jews wanted miracles throughout history. God is now sending them miracles, but these miracles cost many lives, so that in the end those who survived gave "glory to God."

And this is a principle for all people, even for us today. It is not wise to seek and wait for miracles and earthquakes in order to believe in the Lord Jesus, we only need to call on the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in him, and we will avoid such earthquakes as we have seen so far in Revelation.

,, For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

                                                                                 Rom.10: 13

,,… for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.”

                                                                                Acts.27: 25
