,, The second woe is past; [and], behold, the third woe cometh quickly. And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become [the kingdoms] of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God, Saying, We give thee thanks, O Lord God Almighty, which art, and wast, and art to come; because thou hast taken to thee thy great power, and hast reigned.”
Rev. 11: 14-17
We talked earlier about the trumpet of the six angels and now we have reached the seventh, "The evil of the second passes, behold, the evil of the third goes fast." : 7-9: 11 and the second from 9:13 to 11:13 and now the third evil begins.
"The evil of the second passes away, here the evil of the third passes quickly."
"And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, Behold, the kingdom of our Lord and Christ is holy, and he shall reign for ever and ever."
We have previously studied the verse, "But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when the trumpet shall sound, then the mystery of God shall be finished, as he told his servants the prophets." We now study the seventh angel on the Mount of Olives the disciples asked Him:
,, When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel? And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.”
Acts 1: 6-7
When Jesus will come and establish the promised kingdom through the prophets remains a mystery and the reason is a new period - the age of the Church which was not revealed to the prophets and disciples.
,, Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to my gospel, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began, But now is made manifest, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the everlasting God, made known to all nations for the obedience of faith: To God only wise, [be] glory through Jesus Christ for ever. Amen. ([Written to the Romans from Corinthus, [and sent] by Phebe servant of the church at Cenchrea.])”
Romans 16: 25-27
,, Which in other ages was not made known unto the sons of men, as it is now revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:”
Eph.3: 5-6
When the seventh angel blows his trumpet, the mystery of God will be completed, and only when the events that follow from the trumpet of the seventh trumpet will take place will the words of Christ be fulfilled.
,, And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.”
Matthew 24:30
"And the seventh angel sounded, and there were great voices in heaven, saying, Behold, the kingdom of our Lord and Christ is holy, and he shall reign for ever and ever."
We see that the seventh angel blew his trumpet and that "great voices in heaven" were heard, and we have written down what is heard:
"He became the kingdom of the world of our Lord and of Christ, and he will reign forever and ever."
"The dominion of the world belongs to our Lord and his Messiah, and will reign forever and ever."
Here we now see that the kingdom of the "world" has become the kingdom of the Lord Jesus Christ, and when the whole world comes, there will be one kingdom, and we conclude from what is written at the beginning of the verse, "Fasting is the kingdom of the world" and not "the kingdom of the world." one kingdom and not more than one.
The kingdoms of the world since Adam sinned are "given over to Satan" in some way but under the control of the Lord Jesus Christ. That this world can be seen from a few verses. When Satan tempted the Lord Jesus Christ he said to him:
,, Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.”
Matthew 4: 8-9
And in Luke's Gospel we have something else:
,, And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.”
Luke 4: 6
So Satan thinks that he is "the lord of this world" but we can add that he is under the control of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul calls Satan "the god of this world"
,, In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not ..."
2 Cor.4:4
and the Lord Jesus calls him "the prince of this world."
,, Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.”
John 12:31
,, Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.”
John 14:30
,, Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.”
John 16:11
So Satan rules this world, but he is under the control of the Lord Jesus Christ, and he gives the glory of this world to his servants, that is, to those who worship and serve him.
the Bible describes the world kingdoms as beasts and in the book of the prophet Daniel, Daniel describes the kingdom of Babylon as a winged lion.
,, The first [was] like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it.”
Daniel 7: 4
The next kingdom is Mido-Persian and it is described as a bloodthirsty bear.
,, And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and [it had] three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.”
Daniel 7: 5
After this, the Greek and Roman empires are described
,, After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it [was] diverse from all the beasts that [were] before it; and it had ten horns.”
Daniel 7: 6-7
We have seen these beasts and the Bible says that these are the future kingdoms that will be on earth and they will destroy and tear apart like the beasts themselves, and it is no wonder because Satan is the one who "rules" and inspires these kingdoms to happen like that. Behave
,, These great beasts, which are four, [are] four kings, [which] shall arise out of the earth.”
Daniel 7:17
For Daniel, these kingdoms were the future, and for us, the past and history record how these kingdoms functioned, and it only proves what the prophet Daniel wrote.
The Bible speaks of a restored Roman Empire and ten emperors whose ruler will be the last beast, the Antichrist or the Lawless One.
And then we have Daniel's prophecy which says:
,, And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, [but] it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.”
Daniel 2:44
and this is the kingdom for which "great voices have been made in heaven, saying, 'Become the kingdom of our Lord and Christ, and it will reign forever and ever.'
Now there is no more procrastination, Satan's "rule" and sin has come to an end, and now we see that because of this "the heavens rejoice" and rejoice because Christ will reign, "he will reign forever and ever." When Jesus comes to earth radical change will take place and the kingdom of truth, justice and peace will be established.
,, Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.”
Isa 9: 7
The first period of this eternal kingdom is the Millennial Kingdom, which will last for a thousand years, as we can conclude from the name, and then a new heaven and a new earth will follow and this will be eternal.
,, And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.”
Rev. 22: 5
This world of ours will be under the absolute control of God, although it has been under His control until now, but with the proviso that Satan is given a certain right to "rule" until certain goals that God intended for reasons known to Him are fulfilled and when everything is done. and fulfilled God takes absolute control over the earth and over all creation and from then on the kingdom of justice, truth and peace begins.
The world we live in today and the world from the past is based on material things that keep people away from God, and that is why there is a warning in the Bible that says:
,, For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: As free, and not using [your] liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God. Honour all [men]. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honour the king.”
1 John 2: 15-17
So we live in a "human day" and we see confirmation that what is damask in the world will "pass" and that Christ's righteous eternal kingdom will remain in which he will not choose these "modern rands" that are talked about and written about There will be various organizations that are supposedly fighting for the preservation of the land and nature, and today we have a catastrophic situation on earth where plants and animals are disappearing because their habitats have been destroyed and they are also fighting for human rights and humans have become "modern fish" dependent on "systems" that are moving further and further away from the Creator and today it can be said that human morality has fallen so low that it is a "true miracle" as God still suffering,
But we have seen that "there is no more delay" and the trumpeting of the seventh angel foretells the Day of the Lord and the beginning of the "cleansing of evil" and then follows the kingdom for which the Lord Jesus is anointed.
,, Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.”
Ps. 2: 6
and then God the Father continues:
,, I will declare the decree: the Lord hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.”
Ps.2: 7-8
"And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their thrones, fell on their faces, and worshiped God. Saying, We praise thee, O Lord God Almighty; you reign. "
In the fourth and fifth chapters of Revelation we see that it is the Church of Christ and that these twenty-four elders are representatives of the whole Church which means that the Church is in Heaven at the time of these events and we see that the Church gives glory to God
"We praise thee, O Lord God Almighty, who art, and art, and art, that thou hast received thy great power, and hast reigned."
Here we see that God is Almighty and that He is eternal, "who is." When Moses asked God what to say to the people of Israel:
,, And Moses said unto God, Behold, [when] I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What [is] his name? what shall I say unto them? And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.”
Exodus 3: 13-14
and He is "who is" in the past, present and future, and therefore He can reign forever and His Kingdom will have no end, "and He will reign forever and ever.
