,, And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow [was] upon his head, and his face [was] as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and [his] left [foot] on the earth, And cried with a loud voice, as [when] a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.“

                                                                                 Rev. 10: 1-4

We studied the sixth angel in the previous chapter and logically he should now write about the seventh angel but that is not the case but now we come across a pause and that is the second pause, we studied the first between the sixth and seventh seals and that was the seventh chapter of Revelation described the sealing of God's servants, ie one hundred and forty-four thousand servants from the twelve tribes of Israel.

After this we studied the trumpet of the six angels and now after the sixth trumpet we pause again. Then we find another pause after the sixth cup and this pause God uses to say something to people and give them a chance to speak. Now let's see what happens in this pause .

"And I saw another strong angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud, and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire; And he had in his hand a book open, and he put his right foot on the sea, and his left on the earth. And he cried with a loud voice, as a lion roaring; and when he cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.

This vision is very similar to the vision that John saw in the first chapter and in which he saw the vision of the glorified Christ, and because of that he has the opinion that this angel is in fact the Lord Jesus Christ.

However, we conclude that this is not the case because John sees "I saw another angel" and this tells us that in addition to this angel there are other such angels but who have other duties and we know that Jesus is the only one. on earth during the great tribulations and here we are talking about the events of the great tribulations, so this is not Jesus because it says ,,,, And I saw another strong angel coming down from heaven, "and further ,, and he put his right foot on the sea, and his left to the earth "and Jesus will be where the Church is because he writes:

,, Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.“

                                                                               1 Thess.4: 17

So the Church will always be with Jesus, so this strong angel cannot be Jesus even in this, and two more reasons why this is not Jesus. The text says, "He raises his hand to heaven, and swears by the One who lives forever and ever," This strong angel swears by God, which means that this angel swears greater than himself. In the Bible we also have a record that says:

,, For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation [is] to them an end of all strife.“

                                                                              Hebrews 6:16

Which means that if this angel were Jesus, he would swear to himself because Christ is God above all.

,, Whose [are] the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ [came], who is over all, God blessed for ever. Amen.“

                                                                              Rom.9: 5

,, And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:“

                                                                              Rev. 1:17

So after these proofs it is clear that this strong angel is not the Lord Jesus but an angel, who has a special task from God and he has giant dimensions so we can say that this angel is a giant in height.

Further we can see that he writes, "an angel strong coming down from heaven, who was clothed with a cloud" which means that this cloud is in fact the glory of God and then this angel practically descends "clothed in glory" and further writes on his head, "The rainbow reminds us of God's mercy and God's covenant with Noah and his descendants that there will be no more destruction by the flood.

,, And I will establish my covenant with you; neither shall all flesh be cut off any more by the waters of a flood; neither shall there any more be a flood to destroy the earth. And God said, This [is] the token of the covenant which I make between me and you and every living creature that [is] with you, for perpetual generations: I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth.“

                                                                           Gen. 9: 11-13

And here in the text we study the rainbow on the head of this angel is a symbol that God warns of grace even in the midst of great tribulations and gives a new chance for people to repent and repent in the pause we study until the great tribulations continue.

"And his face was like the sun," we said a moment ago, "he is clothed in glory," hence his face shines or shines because he sucked from God and he practically brings a "fraction" of Christ's glory to the earth before Jesus came to earth. .But in the end he writes something else, "and his feet as pillars of fire" and wherever fire is mentioned, it refers to judgment and cleansing. the sea and the earth because this angel stands both on the sea and on the earth

"And he put his right foot on the sea, and his left on the earth."

In addition to this, John saw something else, "And he had an open booklet in his hand," apart from this he writes nothing more about this booklet, but we recently had a book with seven seals that was sealed and Jesus broke the seals. It is possible but we cannot claim because we have no more information but since the seals are already broken we see here that it says "booklet opened," so we can conclude that Jesus in some way "authorized" this angel to use the land deed with a special task because the owner is the Lord Jesus Christ .

It goes on to say, "And he cried with a great voice, as a roaring lion;" This angel carries a message that is important to the whole world, and he cries out very loudly because all the nations of the earth need to hear him. he was interrupted by seven thunders, "and when he cried out, seven thunders uttered their voices." Since we are in great trouble, more precisely during the break, these thunder voices represent a further revelation of God's perfect and just judgment.

Here is what it says about God's voice:

,, The voice of the Lord is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the Lord is upon many waters. The voice of the Lord is powerful; the voice of the Lord is full of majesty. The voice of the Lord breaketh the cedars; yea, the Lord breaketh the cedars of Lebanon. He maketh them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn. The voice of the Lord divideth the flames of fire. The voice of the Lord shaketh the wilderness; the Lord shaketh the wilderness of Kadesh. The voice of the Lord maketh the hinds to calve, and discovereth the forests: and in his temple doth every one speak of his glory.“

                                                                                       Ps.29: 3-9

While Jesus was on earth he talked to the Father and we read:

,, Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, [saying], I have both glorified [it], and will glorify [it] again. The people therefore, that stood by, and heard [it], said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.“

                                                                                       John 12:28-29

So we see that this is the voice of God and that some people have heard it like thunder and we know how loud and far thunder and thunder are heard and as for the text we are studying we see that it says "seven thunders with their voices". seven thunders uttered their voices, I wanted to write, and I heard a voice from heaven saying to me: Seal what the seven thunders said, and do not write this. "

John understood their speech and wanted to write it down, but he heard a voice, "I heard a voice from heaven telling me" not to write it down, but to seal it, "Seal what the seven thunders said, and do not write this." What is John? heard right there is no point in trying to find out because it is sealed and the contents of it will be found out when the time is right for it,
