We have seen so far who Satan was in the beginning and then we have studied the verses that tell us how Satan fell and was cast down to earth along with his army and last time we processed the names given to Satan.
The forty or so names we have processed give us an idea of who Satan is, what he thinks, and how he works in the fight against God and God's people, and it should be said that Satan attacks, frightens, and terrorizes other people. And the main goal of these attacks is to deceive more people and draw them away from God as far as possible because that way they will practically spend eternity in hell together. There are people who resist that, but most people are deceived by the sophisticated methods that Satan has perfected for centuries.
Based on the names we have studied, we see that Satan is attributed human traits or personality traits that come to be Satan's personality but since he is a spiritual being he is not visible to the naked eye except in exceptional cases and certainly does not look like artists present him in horn paintings. tail, piercing eyes, claws, red, etc.
Such creations are the product of human imagination, and if Satan really looked like that, he would certainly not have so many followers and admirers, because in such an edition he intimidates people and people would run away from him as far as possible, which does not fit into his strategy of deception.
The truth is just the opposite of Satan, in order to deceive people, they first turn into "angels of light" 2 Cor. shows the right face but it is usually too late.
And offering something tempting and beautifully packaged and at the same time they can't see Satan because he is a spiritual being, people logically conclude that Satan doesn't exist and that is in fact Satan's goal because then you have nothing to beware of and since the Bible says there is a God but and that there is Satan by questioning the existence of Satan automatically calls into question the existence of God because if something is incorrect then logically it remains incorrect.
And the real truth is that Satan is as real as God and one cannot believe God and say that Satan does not exist because He exists and He is God's creation who serves God in achieving His eternal goals. Truth Satan tries to challenge God's goals and intentions or crashes but of course, fails to do so. He only fulfills them and that often seems like a victory to Him, but He has essentially only fulfilled what God intended.
As far as people are concerned, Satan can hinder someone from reading or studying God's word, but he cannot forbid anyone from doing so because Satan is defeated on the cross and has no authority over those who believe in the Lord Jesus Christ.
,, And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.“
John 10:28
For some time God in His wisdom allows Satan to work, but there will come a time when God will no longer allow Him to do anything and only one angel will be needed who will have the power to:
1. Catch Satan
,, And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,”
Rev. 20: 1-2
2. To throw him into the Abyss
,, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. "
Rev. 20: 3
3. To keep it fresh for 1000 years
,, And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,,"
Rev. 20: 2
4. To make it inactive for 1000 years so as not to deceive the people
,, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.."
Rev. 20: 3
5. To close it and seal it
,, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him”
Rev. 20: 3
6. To let him go after 1000 years
,, And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,”
Rev. 20: 7
after a thousand years spent in the Abyss, Satan will be released to carry out his last activities, and we read about it:
,,And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom [is] as the sand of the sea.”
Rev. 20: 7-8
These are the last activities of Satan on earth, of course, with God's permission, because God's plan needs to be fulfilled, and we will read how this will end in the tenth verse.
,, And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. "
Rev. 20:10
And finally, after many years and a lot of evil done, Satan will be thrown into the Lake of Fire where he will spend eternity.
