So far we have seen what the Bible reveals about God and God's attributes and here is a brief look at what the Bible still reveals about God's attributes that are mentioned through other attributes of God and are very often inseparable from some others or from some other attribute.
1. God is invisible
We talked about God being a "Spirit" and as such He does not have a physical body that we know and that we can see with the naked eye, so we can say that God is invisible to us.
Here are a few verses that say that God is invisible.
“Lo, he goeth by me, and I see [him] not: he passeth on also, but I perceive him not."
Job 9:11
.. Behold, I go forward, but he [is] not [there]; and backward, but I cannot perceive him: On the left hand, where he doth work, but I cannot behold [him]: he hideth himself on the right hand, that I cannot see [him]:"
Job 23: 8-9
" No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared [him].”
John 1:18
" Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:”
Col. 1:15
" Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, [be] honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen."
1 Tim. 1:17
" Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom [be] honour and power everlasting. Amen."
1 Tim. 6:16
“By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he endured, as seeing him who is invisible."
Heb. 11:27
2. God is immeasurable and omnipresent
We have said that God is not limited by earthly laws, nor can the essence of God be grasped. In addition, God is present everywhere and immeasurable in everything, such as creation, knowledge, giving, forgiveness, salvation, etc.
“But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?"
1 Car. 8:27
" For his eyes [are] upon the ways of man, and he seeth all his goings. [There is] no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.."
Job 34: 21-22
,, Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence? If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there. If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea; Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me. If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me. Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee. For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.
I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.
My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.”
Ps.139: 7-16
,, The eyes of the Lord [are] in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”
Proverbs 15: 3
,, [Am] I a God at hand, saith the Lord, and not a God afar off? Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord."
Jer.23: 23-24
,, Though they dig into hell, thence shall mine hand take them; though they climb up to heaven, thence will I bring them down: And though they hide themselves in the top of Carmel, I will search and take them out thence; and though they be hid from my sight in the bottom of the sea, thence will I command the serpent, and he shall bite them:”
Amos 9: 2-3
" Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things [are] naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.."
Hebrews 4:13
3. God is reasonable and wise
From the present presentations, we could conclude that God is reasonable and wise, because only such a God can control all events in our visible and also invisible (for us) world.
,, With him [is] wisdom and strength, he hath counsel and understanding.”
Job 12:13
,, Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
Dost thou know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine? Dost thou know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge? How thy garments [are] warm, when he quieteth the earth by the south [wind]? "
Job 37: 14-17
,, O Lord, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches.”

" Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, [be] honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen."
1 Tim. 1:17
4. God is great
God is great because His works prove it, and we have that evidence throughout human history.
,, Now I know that the Lord [is] greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly [he was] above them.”
Exodus 18:11
",, For the Lord your God [is] God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:”

,, Wherefore thou art great, O Lord God: for [there is] none like thee, neither [is there any] God beside thee, according to all that we have heard with our ears.”
,,
For the Lord most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.“

5. God is just
We have already mentioned this before, only to say that God is absolutely just, unlike people who do not have justice but like to brag about it.
,, [He is] the Rock, his work [is] perfect: for all his ways [are] judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right [is] he. "

,,

Ps.116: 5
,, Righteous art thou, O Lord, and upright are thy judgments.”
Ps.119: 137
,, Tell ye, and bring [them] near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? [who] hath told it from that time? [have] not I the Lord? and [there is] no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; [there is] none beside me."
Isa.45: 21
6. God is patient and slow to anger
We touched on this topic when we said that God is merciful.
,, And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,”
Exodus 34: 6
,, The Lord [is] longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing [the guilty], visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth [generation].”

Joel 2:13
"And he prayed to the Lord and said, 'Lord!' Did I not say that when I was still in my country? So I wanted to escape to Tarshish first; for I knew that thou art a merciful and gracious God, slow to anger, and abundant in mercy, and repenteth of evil.
Jonah 4: 2
,, And he prayed unto the Lord, and said, I pray thee, O Lord, [was] not this my saying, when I was yet in my country? Therefore I fled before unto Tarshish: for I knew that thou [art] a gracious God, and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repentest thee of the evil.”
Nahum 1: 3
7. God is good and gentle
And we talked about this to mention that God does not punish according to what we deserve, but is merciful and gentle, and out of great love, he gives us new chances to repent so that we do not perish.
,, Good and upright is the Lord: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.”
Ps.25: 8
,, For thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.”

8. God is full of love
Because God is full of love, he is also good and gentle and merciful and slow to anger and patient with us, giving us new chances for life.

1 John 4: 8
,, And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. "
1 John 4:16
9. God is full of generosity
Everything we receive from grace and grace to the material things we use is a gift from God who takes care of us.
,, Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
Isa.55: 7
,, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

James 5: 17-18
10. God is true
Everything we have said so far only makes sense if God is true and here is the confirmation that God is true.
,, [He is] the Rock, his work [is] perfect: for all his ways [are] judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right [is] he”
