We all know very well that we humans are persons or individuals with our own unique characteristics and we all know that no two people are the same in the world and that is why we can freely say that the main characteristic of a person is a person.

Well, as we say for us humans that we are personalities, we can also say that God is a personality, although in the Bible we also find the attribute of God to be Spirit. It is very difficult for us humans to imagine such a combination because it contradicts what we know about the concept of spirit. and bodies or personalities, and that is incomprehensible or very difficult for us to understand, but despite the fact that not everything is clear to us in the Bible, we find human characteristics and feelings inherent in personalities when revealing God to people.

When God appeared to men He used various forms of appearance so that He once took the form or form of man as in Genesis 18 when God spoke to Abraham then spoke to Moses from the burning bush (Exodus 3) and to the Israelites appeared in a pillar of clouds and fire (Deuteronomy 31) but never in a visible form or form that anyone could say he saw God.

When Moses wanted to see God, we read

"And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

                                                                                                        Exodus 33:18

And God answers him:

"And he said, Thou canst not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live. And the Lord said, Behold, [there is] a place by me, and thou shalt stand upon a rock: And it shall come to pass, while my glory passeth by, that I will put thee in a clift of the rock, and will cover thee with my hand while I pass by:And I will take away mine hand, and thou shalt see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.”

                                                                                                       Exodus 33: 20-23

So no one can see the face of God or the glory of God and stay alive, and this statement is confirmed by Paul.

"Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom [be] honour and power everlasting. Amen."

                                                                                                        1 Tim.6: 16

But despite this, God, with his wisdom and knowledge, found a way to reveal Himself to people in the incarnation of God, the Son of Jesus Christ, through whom the glory of God was revealed.

"And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."

                                                                                                        John 1:14

In addition to this in the Bible we find human characteristics or attributes that God uses (e.g. God has hands, eyes, ears, mouth, God is angry, sleeps, etc.) to show us that God is not really some impersonal form but a person or personality and now that we can't fully understand all that is another question. From the context of these revelations we see that God takes human characteristics to show us personality traits that we can understand so that when it is said that God has hands it refers to God's action, eyes imply that God sees everything, ears hear everything, mouth refers to revelations to people that they understand something of God's great wisdom when it says that God is angry refers to God's wrath against sin and when we find the text where it says that God sleeps we see that God is slow to anger to punish enemies and people who do not want to listen to Him already gives them chances and opportunities to turn from the wrong path to the true God, etc.

So God wants to approach us and show us by examples that we understand that He is a real person or a person and we find the first idea of a person at the very beginning of the Bible where it says that God created man in the beginning according to his form, character or personality. it means that he gave man some kind of personality that resembled God but had a shape or form for life on earth.

We read:

,,And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness:“

                                                                                                          Genesis 1:26

and further writes about these creations of God

"So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."

                                                                                                       Genesis 1:27

So they were created as persons, but they had "pale" personalities or the form of the Creator himself, who has a personality that we cannot fathom, but if God says that, we should only respect what is written in the Acts where it says "I believe in God"

,,Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it shall be even as it was told me.. "

                                                                                                       Acts 27:25
