The biggest human problem
A dead man does not need help, a dead man needs life
Soon after the creation of the world and all the conditions necessary for a perfect life, man, with his will and disobedience, fell into a problem that he never managed to solve. Of course, people have been trying to solve the problem for thousands of years and somehow get out of it and they will not succeed in the future no matter how hard they try.
Of course, there is a solution, but a large number of people ignore that solution, considering it frivolous and insufficiently scientific to believe in something like that. It is much easier to believe and invest a lot of effort into scientific facts that can explain everything than to believe what God says.
,, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, ..."
Acts 16:31
,,For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life."
John 3:16
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:23
,,But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name:"
John 1:12
..Jesus answered and said to him, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God."
John 3: 3
,,Tthat if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation.
For "whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Rom.10: 9-10, 13
“ For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,not of works, lest anyone should boast.”
Eph. 2: 8, 9
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,"
Titus 3: 5
"So they said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
Acts 16:31
"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."
John 3:36
"And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand."
John 10:28
So man needs salvation.
From God's point of view, salvation is what man needs to live, and that is in fact life.
The biggest problem of the human race, then, is the lack of life, and the spiritual life that Adam and Eve lost when they believed the lie.
When Adam and Eve were created they were created in the image of God so alive
.. So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them."
Gen. 1:27
,,This is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that God created man, He made him in the likeness of God."
Gen. 5: 1
and as such, they had the opportunity to come into contact with God whom they could meet. Every man has spirit, soul, and body and the purpose of the spirit is to have contact with God's Spirit through which he will have and enjoy perfect communion with God.
God wanted His relationship with people to be based on perfect love that would be expressed through faith and free will. In this way, Adam and Eve had a perfect relationship with God and fulfilled the meaning of life that they received from God. in perfect communion with God they had a life — a kind of life of God, and that life in them depended entirely on their free will whether to remain in it or not.
As their relationship with God was based on love there had to come a time when they needed to show that their love was the result of their free will and therefore they had only one single prohibition that God gave to Adam.
"but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."
Gen. 2:17
And of course, the greatest enemy of God Satan saw his chance there and a temptation ensued by approaching Eve in the form of a serpent and telling her the following
"And the serpent said to the woman, "You will not surely die."For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil"
Genesis 3: 4-5
Satan offers Eve a new solution, a new opportunity, more precisely a lie by which Adam and Eve will come out of the relationship with God and establish a new independent relationship in which they will be their gods and thus be self-sufficient and know what is good and what is evil. to tell them, "what will God keep telling you what is good and what is not you are smart enough to do it yourself, you will see it is not difficult, you just need to listen to my instructions and become independent."
This story seemed very appealing and logical to Eve and she decided to obey Satan. Maybe she was thinking, "I don't see that something bad will happen to us, we won't die, we will become free and we will be able to think with our heads and decide for ourselves what is good and what is evil." This seemed like a very smart rational solution. it is only necessary to pick and taste from the tree a genus that was very attractive and to explain everything to Adam and convince him to do the same because he will become independent and his eyes will be opened like hers and then everything will be in ok.
Both Eve and Adam tasted it but nothing has been right since.
The truth in the Bible we read that Adam lived many years after that a total of 930 but on that day Adam and Eve did not die physically but spiritually and then God withdrew from them and they lived physically for a long time but did not have spiritual communion with God as before If they had remained in communion with God, physical death would not have come even after 930 years, but since they chose what they chose, the punishment came immediately in the form of losing communion with God and expulsion from paradise, and after many years physical death arrived.
And another punishment arrived, they were no longer in the image of God, because it is written about their descendants that they are not in the image of God, but in their image, therefore human without spiritual life, only with physical life that will be interrupted by physical death.
,,And Adam lived one hundred and thirty years, and begot a son in his own likeness, after his image, and named him Seth."
Gen. 5: 3
So two spiritually dead parents could no longer pass on to their descendants what they themselves no longer had - spiritual life. They were alive, healthy, beautiful because they lived in such an environment, but since then every descendant is born spiritually dead because the law of reproduction is such that the descendants resemble the parents. The spiritual thread with the Creator is broken and to re-establish God's intervention was needed again and that is the only way to re-establish that thread because every human activity, deed, or effort will not give the desired result. To get that result, God will intervene and a great sacrifice will be needed to correct man's mistake.
And that great sacrifice and God's intervention was the Lord Jesus Christ who had to come to incarnate and die a martyr's death on the cross.
The coming itself had to be specific because people were already spiritually dead and inherited a sinful nature, so God intervened by supernaturally conceiving Jesus and that was the only way to be born without being subject to the laws of death or being born spiritually alive. and that is why he was able to sacrifice his life for us.
And we need a life because we are dead not physically but spiritually and the only way to get life is for someone to give it to us as a gift because we can't deserve it, create it, make it, or get it in some other way because we inherited a sinful nature and ma no matter how hard we try, we can't do anything without the great mercy and grace of God
And grace and grace are expressed in the way that Jesus was nailed to the cross, died and rose again, and in that way, every man who approaches him in faith receives as a gift the gift of the Holy Spirit that man has lost and is called life, eternal life.
"But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us,even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved),"
Eph.2: 4-5
Salvation to anyone who believes in Jesus consists not only in the fact that Jesus did something for us (of course he did an incredible amount) but also in the fact that Jesus Christ personally lives in us and it is the transition from death to life the transition of a spiritually dead man to a spiritually alive.
Jesus' victory on the cross, resurrection, and the life that Jesus lives through man is the final solution to man's greatest problem - death.
" I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."
Gal.2: 20
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,"
Eph.2: 8
