Good evening, it's bheng once again, just want to share the phonetic alphabet we used in the hotel.
Hope u like it too, so here it goes :)
In regency, we have 14 pairs of room attendant, in each block, it consist of 2 people, male n female, the guy r the one who do the bed, the table while the female do the bathroom n if she finish first, she helps her partner or if he finish first, he helps her.
In the hotel, we have three floor area that was assigned to the room attendant, it's ground floor, second floor n third floor.
In ground floor, it's called Alpha n it consists of 4 pairs of room attendant. The first pair is called Alpha 1, second's Alpha 2, third's Alpha 3 n the last's Alpha 4.
Second floor is Bravo n it consists of 5 pairs. Bravo 1, Bravo 2, Bravo 3, Bravo 4, Bravo 5.
The last's third floor's Charlie n also consists of 5 pairs. Charlie 1, Charlie 2, Charlie 3, Charlie 4, n Charlie 5.
The Operators, that includes me, fheby n geralyn was called Alpha Base as we answer the radio calls n on air n being monitored by the managers n the hotel owner himself n on telephone calls too. The sentence on radio or on air will go like this, break alpha base, we replied, go ahead breaker.
Room service's called Romeo Sierra if by radio/ on air.
Henann Garden's one of the hotel property n sometimes the radio frequency's being shared n we can hear what they r saying on the radio n their housekeeping's base is called Bravo base n we also used the word Interruption on radio/on air if we r going to tell something important while someone is talking on air.
We used the word Copy as indication that we received the call/break clearly n the word Roger as indication that we take note of what they want n they say Tango as indication that they received the answer clearly as well.
When i'm still on training n just a new telephone operator, i prefer to answer the telephone calls n not the radio n told the other telephone operator to answer it or sometimes, my supervisor 'coz i don't like it n i don't want to hear my voice on air, lol
That's all for now, Bheng again, saying good night, over n out, lol
I am not into that work field, but I am thank ful that you shared something like this here. It's sound like I am learning the NSTP in highschool.
