Words I've Learned For 13 Years Of Living Here In Boracay

Good afternoon to all, it's me again, at your service, lol, how are you? Me, haven't been sleeping or didn't get good sleep for days now 'coz been dealing with things here, thinking too much as well as watching a thainovela and talking to my bf, lol, in short, lack of sleep for few days now, lol, hopefully after i wrote this one, will have an afternoon nap again 'coz i haven't got it as well for few days now and eyebags now's real, lol, made a photo collage of the flowers that blooms again for the nth time, it's a small violet flower and it's kinda cute so i shared it here.

Boracay's a tourist destination. Since it's a tourist destination, you will know, notice and will learn that the people living and working here uses different dialects and that's aklanon( the dialects here in Boracay), cebuano, ilonggo, tagalog, antiqueno, kiniray-a(the dialects in Hambil or in San Jose, Romblon), English. Some of the people living and working here also learned other language and even speak it fluently like Korean Language, Mandarin for Chinese, Spanish, Russian and German language too. Been here for 13 Years now, since my father died on 2008. Before, My Mother used to speak her dialects to us, same with My Deceased Father, who happens to be a Kapampangan. At work, most of my workmate happens to be Ilonggo for the Hotel Owner's Ilonggo themselves, had learned some of their dialects and some other dialects and language too, lol, but guess, i happen to like Ilonggo as it's a sweet one, imagine, even if Ilonggo's mad or angry with you, their tone's still sweet, lol So here's the words i've learned from that dialect, some's just basic, though, lol Siin or Diin- Saan, Where Siin or Diin ka makadto- Saan ka pupunta, Where are you going Pila- Magkano, How much Atubang or Atubangan- Harap or Harapan, Front Ilaham or Ilam- Ewan, Whatever Ano ngalan mo- Ano pangalan mo, What's your name Bayi- Babae, Girl/Lady/Woman Laki- Lalaki, Boy/Man Bakasa- Bilis, Hurry Anwang- Kalabaw, Carabao Curacha- Ipis, Cockroach Tubi- Tubig, Water Gab-i- Gabi, Night or Evening Adlaw- Araw or Umaga, Morning Sura- Ulam, Dish Hampangan- Laruan, Toys Hampang- Laro, Play Mahampang kita- Maglaro tayo, Let's play Pila imong edad- Ilang taon ka na, How old are you Kalamay- Asukal, Sugar Pispis- Ibon, Bird Ayusa nyo- Ayusin nyo, Don't joke around Iloy- Nanay, Mother Unga- Anak, Son or Daughter Totoy- Tuta, Puppy Ayam- Aso, Dog Kuring or Kuding- Pusa, Cat Ano sura- Anong ulam, What's the dish Habon- Sabon, Soap Silhig- Walis, Broom Atubang bi sa akon- Humarap ka sa akin, Face me frontly, ewan kung tama translate ko nito sa English, please bare with me po Akon- Akin, Mine Imo- Sayo, Yours Bao- Pagong, Turtle Huo- Oo, Yes Bal-an ko- Alam ko, I know Gabii ron- Gabi na, It's already night/evening That's all i can remember but there's so many, lol, please bare with me, can't think straight right now, kinda sleepy and my head's aching now, lol, good afternoon once again, correct me if i'm wrong with this article of mine today, stay safe, stay home and God bless and have a good day to all, going to try if i can have an afternoon nap here and thank you, feel free to share the Ilonggo words you know down below and the corrections if there's any :)
