Good evening, Bheng here again, i was inspired to write another article about Boracay not only because i lived here n promote it here n not because by the upvotes i had received today but to say thank u to all the people out here especially my sponsors n those i've sponsored here as well n to also give some additional insight/information about Boracay, so for those who's planning to visit here will be informed n have idea about the island itself, hope u will take time to read this article again n hope u like it as well, so here it is :)
Boracay's a small island off the coast of the province of aklan n is considered the crown jewel of the philippines. The island's a dog-bone shaped from the bird's eye view n such a distinct characteristic translates into a unique holiday experience.
There's 2 major wind patterns in boracay n these determines the weather in the island.
During the amihan( cool northeast wind ) or high season from october-may, the island experiences an amazing weather . The island's always beaming with tourists so it is best to book your accomodation at least 2 months in advance if u plan to visit during this time of the year.
Habagat( southwest monsoon ) or the lean season from june-september 's characterized by strong winds perfect for extreme watersports like kiteboarding. Discounted rates on accomodations n airfare r also widely offered during this time of the year.
The local dialect on the island's aklanon which is closely related to ilonggo, spoken on the island of panay. Filipino( tagalog ) n english r widely understood n spoken in the island. With the influx of people from different parts of the world, it won't be surprising to find locals who can speak korean, japanese, mandarin, italian, russian, german n more.
Boracay's accesible from manila by plane, n a boat transfer is necessary to get to the island. The scenic transfer takes about 10 minutes, n boats used vary from a regular boat to an enclosed ferry. Those who easily gets sea-sick should take anti-dizzy medicines to ensure a pleasant start for the vacation. As in any other beach, it is best to wear light-colored summer clothes, a pair of chic sunglasses, n your most comfortable flipflops for ease in moving around the island under the heat of the sun. Walking along the beach in your swimsuit's certainly okay, but note that some restaurants require guests to wear something on top of it while dining.
Bheng again saying, hope i be able to help u with this n hope u like this article n feel free to give a comment below n good evening again n konbanwa, minna san n again, thank u to all the people or members here especially to my sponsors n those good people i met here n considered as friend/family, God bless :)
i want to go there:))
