Good evening to all, Bheng here, once again, just wanna say, Hakuna Matata n want to share the kind of infection i had here for 3-4times n good thing i got better yesterday because going to the hospital is the last thing i want to do n it will be dangerous if u didn't consult or see the doctor if u can't take the pain anymore.
So here it is.
Amoebiasis is a infection of the intestines with a parasite called entamoeba histolytica.
Amoeba is a parasite, a single celled organism.
People can get this parasite by eating or drinking something that's contaminated with it.
In my case, i first had it when i started working at the hotel here in boracay, the water i drink in the cafeteria that time is a tap water n it's not good to drink n it happens again for 2-3times more n i was confined in the hospital for it for almost a week n can't eat solid foods.
Gastrointestinal amoebiasis is treated with nitromidazole drugs which kill amoebas in the blood, in the wall of the intestine and in liver abscesses. These drugs include metronidazole and tinidazole.
Amoeba's rare, forgotten but dangerous and can cause serious infections in humans.
Amoebiasis also known as amoebic dysentery, an infection caused by any of the amoebae of the entamoeba group.
It can be present with no, mild, or severe symptoms.
Symptoms may include abdominal pain, diarrhea or blood diarrhea and complications can include inflammation and ulceration of the colon with tissue death or perforation which may result in peritonitis.
People affected may develop anemia due to loss of blood.
Improved sanitation including separating food and water from faeces is the prevention for this infection.
Konbanwa n hope this information will be of help to all and u also need to cook your food well n drink safe water like that of wilkins n if u can't afford to buy, just boil the water before u drink it. Thank you, God bless :)
When my child is 2 years old, he was confined due to that amoebas . I don't know where her get that since I am not the one who focus on taking care of him in days. I just notice that there is a blood in his pupu and still continue in diarrhea even the center gave some medicine, I sent him to hospital then they said that it cause of amoebas, it's really difficult for a child to have that. It's not as noticable infection. It's need to take lab test.
