Bheng here, good evening to all, i will share about blood types n the rarest blood types too, hope u will take time to read it :)
Blood has 2 main groups namely ABO and RH.
ABO blood system has 4 types
Type A- has a A marker known as A.
Type B- has a B marker known as B.
Type AB- has both A & B markers
Type O- has neither A or B markers.
Blood futher classified as being either " RH Positive(RH+) " has RH factor or " RH Negative(RH-) " without RH factor.
8 possible Blood types
O Negative(O-) doesn't have A or B markers & it doesn't have RH factor.
O Positive(O+) doesn't have A or B markers but does have RH factor. One of the 2 most common blood types(the other being A Positive(A+).
A Negative(A-) has A marker only.
A Positive(A+) has A marker & RH factor, but not B marker. Along with O Positive(O+) one of the 2 most common blood types.
B Negative(B-) has B marker only.
B Positive(B+) has B marker & RH factor but not A marker.
AB Negative(AB-) has A & B markers but not RH factor.
AB Positive(AB+) has all three types of markers, A, B & RH factor.
While there are 8 Rarest blood types and the percentage of people who have that kind of blood.
AB Negative(AB-) is .6 percent.
B Negative(B-) is 1.5 percent.
AB Positive(AB+) is 3.4 percent.
A Negative(A-) is 6.3 percent.
O Negative(O-) is 6.6 percent.
B Positive(B+) is 8.5 percent.
A Positive(A+) is 35.7 percent.
O Positive(O+) is 37.4 percent.
