Break from holiday eatings 😋 This is called "pinangat na bangus" milkfish cooked with tamarind and tomatoes 😁 My friend cooked it and delivered to my house... i love this kind of food ... perfect break from the holiday foods.. Our home away from home This is where we stayed during the holidays. Our home away from home... It has been our tradition to be together in one house on Christmas eve .. to eat together, to play together.. to be kids again... Our family is growing.. new members of the family, the spouses of our kids.. and now babies are adding joy to our family... Sand dunes This was my third time doing this kind of activity.. and the excitement and thrill is always the same.. Riding a 4x4 and going tru the sand ..up hills ..down hills.. side hills .. and the screaming all throughout the 1hr ride with stop over for picture taking at the beach ... Empanada in Paoay Yesterday last stop... the famous Paoay church and empanada.. The church is beauriful at night because of the lights and people loves to stroll in this place because of the street foods... empanada, mais con cielo, sweet corn on cob, mango with bagoong, ice cream, chicken wings.. I got an empanada..a combination of longanisa, bagnet, veggies and egg... yummy 😋 Good morning... still on bed and will hit the road in a bit .. going home 🥰 Ilove you 😘 #bestfriendalice💟

Morning walk with my little one We are staying here in a transient home here at Celestial village in Baguio City.. The place is away from the city and we can enjoy the city view from afar .. with the coolness of the morning breeze of the mountains.. My little one enjoys it so much 🥰 #bestfriendalice💟

Red or white? I am choosing which one to buy as gifts.. so many choices.. and for me that have no knowledge of wine is having a hard time to choose... Red wine goes well with red meat or steak.. Our simple Christmas party at the office 🥰 Our group decided to have a simple Christmas party and decided to do an outreach program for the less fortunate.. Nevertheless, we still celebrate our simple Christmas party with a simple meal at the office...we have pansit(noodles) puto (rice cake) and fried chicken.. our Managing Director send this meal to us today.. And i bring some food too.. like chocolates and castanas and a bottle of soju... And i sponsor a simple game.. just pick a stub from the jar.. and any amount written on that paper is their prize.. i wrote 5pcs php50.00($1.00) 5pcs php 100.00($2.00) and 5pcs php 500.00($10.00).. 2 got the 500.00, 4 got the 100.00 2 got the 50.00 Wait there's more hahaha.. they sing and dance hahaha so i gave them php 500.00 each for their song and dance hahahaha.. The lake... Why is the lake so calm compared to the oceans? But between the lakes and the ocean.. i prepare the ocean hehehe.. Caroling... Singing of Christmas carols... i remember when i was a kid, me and my siblings and friends went around the neighbirhoid with our improvised musical instrument the pinoy style of tambourine.. made of tansans from softdrinks( 2nd picture not mine) .. and do the caroling.. hehehe It was fun... we received a few coins and at the end of our caroling, we divide it among ourselves .. then we buy something for our parents.. Midnight snacks... snacks ???? 😁 This is pancit palabok (noodles) and bahay guya (pork intestine) It has been ages since i have eaten this bahay guya.. and i miss it.. so when i saw it on the table.. i get a spicy vinegar and dip it.. yummy yummy... Bibingka and puto bumbong Our famous goodies during Christmas especially during Simbang gabi or dawn masses... After the mass, people will eat this bibingka and puto bumbong with ginger tea.. to warm your body from cold morning.. It has been a tradition here... Althiugh, i haven't been doing simbang gabi for years now.. but i am sure there are still stalls near the church selling this goodies.. cooking it the old fashioned way.. the traditional way ... hot coal below and above the pot clay 😁 The picture i shared was cooked tge modern way 😁 Happy Bkessed Sunday 🥰 #bestfriendalice💟

Christmas 🌲🌲🌲 dinner Spending time with friends is always a blessing and gaining weight hahaha Most of you have met these beautiful ladies on my previous posts... my high school buddies... We had our at Duck & Buvette, a french resto.. and we had our dessert at Via mare a pinoy cuisine.. The evening was full of laughter and updates .. and one high lights of our convo... about being senior citizen next year..excited to use the senior card hahaha. Breakfast date 😁 I ordered vigan longanisa and mushroom and cheese omelet... he ordered beef tapa with sunnyside up eggs... Most of the time we go on dinner date, but breakfast date is out of the blue.. I love the idea of breakfast date.. why?
