Midnight snack, anyone?
I had a productive day at home.. but i start my day toooo late like 4pm hehehe...
I did not get up till lunch time, till my stomach got hungry.. and went back to bed after lunch...
I started around 4pm.. cleaning the house first, then car wash, i wash my bags too, then ironing of clothes, a little of cooking.. and now having my midnight snack 😁
It is called cheesy ensaymada.. a soft bread topped with butter, a little sugar and lots of cheese..i reheat it for less than a minute to let the cheese melts a little..

Carbonara.. italian syle
To be honest i don't know how to make pasta meals, even a simple one...
I know how carbonara looks like with a white sauce, topped with mushroom and bacon bits..
So this one, it's different from the normal carbonara i know.. the fresh egg seasoned with salt and pepper and herbs would be the pasta sauce.. i don't know how they crack egg and give that kind of presentation of the egg..
After serving, just put the fresh egg on the noodles and mixed it and then add more parmesan cheese.. the taste is a bit classy not the normal creamy carbonara..
I love the taste .. a new experience 🥰

Going to church is only one way to recharged my soul.. being with nature is a best way to do it... somewhere peaceful.. just me and my God.
Even Jesus do it when He wants to be alone with the Father.. he went to the mountain and pray or sometimes He goes to the sea... away from tge crowds and His disciples.
Talking to Him through the trees, through the skies, through the waves .. having chit-chat with my God.. making noise wih Him.. sharing how my week goes, sharing my thoughts.. sharing my tiredness and feel how He embraced me ...

So here is how my day goes.. i visited an old store in Bulacan named Puto Popular established in 1947 and their small business is still in the market...they are famous for puto (rice cake) cotchinta ( a native delicacies made of glutonous rice and brown sugar) and the famous dinuguan (pork stew) ..
I think the new generations have maintained the original recipe of their products or food.. they are still famous ..and you will love the taste of it.. it is different from other sellers of puto and cotchinta...
Sorry i could not mentioned 5 people..

Hardin sa Paraiso ( garden in paradise)
This is a restaurant in Urdaneta Pangasinan, this is where i usually stop for a good meal after visiting Our Lady of Manaoag in Manaoag Pangasinan..
Since it is a long drive going to Our Lady of Manaoag.. this place will give you not just a good meal but also a good place to relax and unwind before driving back home.
With lots of greens around the resto, there is also mini creek behind those small nipa huts and you could hear the water streams on the creek while having your meal on those nipa huts..
Yes, i could say it is a mini paradise...

She teases me if i already received my bonus, i told her, i am happy even without the bonus, but i will be happier if my boss will give us our bonus .. 100% or more hahaha

Dinner and ice cream
Our boss gave us an incentive for meeting all our deadlines ahead of time for this month..
So after work, we had a sumptous dinner at Crisostomo's a Filipino cuisine.. they ordered crispy pata, crispy hito, ginataang kuhol at gising gising..
Then after that.. i treat them an ice cream for our dessert...
Always a good feel when your work are appreciated...

The Last Holiday
One of my favorite Christmas movies is... The Last Holiday.. starring Queen Latifah
I have watched it a numerous times.. and i still enjoyed it.. i love the actors, the story itself.. and the character of Georgia...
It was 2006 film .. when she finds out that she has terminal illness, she withdraw all her savings and live like a millionaire in one of the luxurious hotel in Europe.. and she made all her possibilities into realities..
I can relate to her way of thinking.. coz if ever it happens to me, i will spend also the remaining days of my life spending everything i have earned..
Well i dont think i need to wait for that bad thing to happen before i enjoy my life.. when i have watched that movie, i started to live my life.. enjoy the moment.. i am not living on a luxurious life.. but i am living a happy life 🥰

Verdure
There are three different kind of restaurant inside The Greenery.. you can choose from Chinese, Japanese and Italian food.
I opted to choose the Italian restaurant name Verdure.. and we ordered the spaghetti with meat balls, pepperoni pizza and chicken marinara..
They served good food and the servings are for good sharing.. worth the price 😁
Btw... verdure means lush green vegetation..

This is the bustos river that is connected to Angat Dam.. the river here is much cleaner than other rivers in Bulacan .. you could feel the fresh air from that point..

Hehehe is there a word as pre-sunset hahaha.. i go out for a moment to buy my friend his favorite efficascent oil.. he called that he needed one because his stock is empty.. and he has back pains..
When i go out of Watsons, it is already dark .. Christmas time already .. longer nights than day 😊

That is a place in Bustos Bulacan .. it is a resort.. with a mini train that would tour you around the place.
This is a good place for unwinding, away from the noise.. from the noisy word... you can only hear the sound of silence..
You can also book your staycation here amd enjoy the American inspired houses..

And she hands me this jar of cashew nuts.. and my face lifted up... ohhhh hahaha

Budget preparation
I am so tired this week.. just finished today all the budget preparation for the 5 companies i am handling ..
I am happy when i saw the outcome of my forecast last year.. compared to actual of this year.. we had surpassed our target for 2022..
Hopefully my forecast for 2023 will also be a good one...
Initial presentation will be on Monday and the final presentation to the big boss is on the 23rd of Nov..

Appetizer, main course and dessert
We celebrated the birthday of our friend the other day at a Japanese resto...
While waiting for the food.. the appetizer was served.. seaweed, watermelon and mashed potato.. i love the taste of the seaweed.. sweet and aour taste..
Then our main course were.. tuna maki with cheese, and another maki with mango .. prawn tempura, salmon sashimi, ramen, gyosa, pork katsudon, eel sushi and kani salad..
And for our dessert, we moved to another resto.. we ordered banana split and hot choco...
The one wearing the yellow top is the birthday celebrant...it was an advanced celebration because of hectic schedule nearing the end of the month..
Creating memories .. happy faces and happy tummy memories 🥰
My post is not to brag about the food we eat but to just share my day with my friends...

How deep is our faith? Just what Jesus said if we have a faith like of a mustard seed, we can say to that mountain to move to the ocean..
We may have shallow faith but He never give up on us.. His faithfulness remains..
Today is the feast of our patron saint. St Martin of Tours Bocaue Bulacan.. this is one of the oldest churches in Bulacan .. it was founded by a Franciscan in 1606..

That moment when...
I have many awkward moments that happens in my 58 yrs of existence hehehe.. here are some of the few..
!. Elementary days, when i could not pronounce the word "choir" and i just said chorus hahaha
2. I think i was 5 or 6 yrs old when a street dog chase me and i dont know where to hide.. i cry screaming and i pee on my panty.. i got traumatized by that incident.
3. When i saw my boyfriend with another girl, and i go to the other side of the street and followed them .. they went to a moviehouse and i cut the line and stand in front of him.. i did not say a word, i just let him see my face and i left.. oh his face turns to pale white hahaha..
4. When i was breaking up with my 3rd bf.. which ends to a wedding proposal.. i dont know what to do.. ending.. we got married and got separated hahaha
Those were awkward moments before but now, it is funny memories🥰
