Twitter used to be a really nice platform where people of any affiliation could post updates, jokes, and pretty much anything they could think of. But nowadays, Twitter is just a tool that politicians use to further their own political agenda. It's also a haven for SJWs and people who gets easily offended by the littlest of things.
Not the right skin color?
Yeah, they'll cancel you for that...
Not on the "right" side of politics?
Cancelled!
Anime characters too spicy for western audience?
Yeah, they'll cancel that too...
Pretty much anything that were even slightly "offensive" would be cancelled by these puritans who made it their duty to dictate what's acceptable and what's not on the platform.
Anyway, enough with the rant.
Even though Twitter had become a cesspool of negativity, it's still possible to find something good on the platform like this tweet from an Indian national for example.
The aforementioned Indian national manages to single-handedly made the hashtag #JoeBidenISNotMyPresident popular on Twitter. Of course, the person in question did not tweeted what he tweeted because he despises the man but because he was just being honest.
It's really interesting how a tag that could be seen as negative turn humorous depending on the person and the context.
Trump also have similar hashtag during his presidency but that hashtag was a tag that was full of hate from the left unlike Biden's hashtag. I'm not saying Biden was a much better person than Trump for anyone in the know knew that Biden is far from a good person. But enough with that.
Right now the connotation behind the hashtag is not as negative as that of Trump although that could also change in the future. As for whether the #JoeBidenISNotMyPresident hashtag would be used against Biden, only time will tell.
