Kalanggaman Island

The island of Kalanggaman is located in Palompon, Leyte, Philippines. There are two ways you can reach this island either through Cebu or through Leyte. It is famous for its crystal clear water, white powdery sand and long sandbars. It has been attracting a lot of tourist guides. This island is uninhabited but there are tourist police who are stationed on the island. Locals are very strict because they have been preserving the beauty of the place. They only allow 500 people per day. People visit this island to have a peaceful and relaxing vacation. There are a lot to enjoy in this island such as swimming, snorkeling, kayaking and even scuba diving. The best time to visit this island is during the summer season but if you don't like crowded beaches, then don't visit during summer, holidays and long weekends. It is also best if you avoid the rainy season because the waves going to or around this island are pretty strong. Stay safe!
