A very special day!

Saturday, February 27, 2021. Family woke up early for the double/triple celebration. Birthday celebration of Jac, my nephew, whose birthday was actually last February 22 and my daughter Yuri on March 3 and the grand opening of Kusina NI Camila. We had breakfast by the beach and brought all the decorations that we need to set-up. Oppss, not actually set-up, we just blow the balloons and asked our uncle to design it for us☺️.

We were joking around, laughing and out of nowhere we talked about preparing because one of these days someone from the media would come and visit the place and might interview the owner. And my sister even said, I wish we will be featured in 'Byahe ni Drew'. Then after a few minutes, my uncle who works in the barangay came rushing to inform us that media personnel from GMA 7, one of the giant tv station here in the Philippines, was actually at the barangay hall asking where Kusina NI Camila is. We were all shocked as no one is ready and all of us have not taken a bath yet. Some were busy cleaning, decorating, fixing some chairs, watering the plants and all. But we cannot let this opportunity pass and it will be a good addition to the company profile. So we immediately get the uniform of the employees and wore it even if I don't have a name on it, I just borrowed one from the crew. We were all excited!

The media personnels came; the reporter and the cameraman. My sister immediately welcome them as she is one of the major mastermind of this project. My mother who at the time just dropped by was even more excited because as soon as the reporter extended her hand for a handshake to my sister, she offered them a drink and food! 🤦. And so the interview started and we continued what we were doing.

The interview took like hours and the finale was a group picture with them. Funny that we too joined in the picture taking while the real crews were not😁. Because of these, we were all cramming for the decoration and it's almost 12noon when we finished everything and went home to prepare.

When we arrived at the venue, we were so shocked that there are a lot of people; relatives and close friends. We did not expected that much because we thought we only invited close family and friends to avoid any issues about the protocols. My daughter was excited and immediately hugged her best friend and played in the view deck while Jac run to the balloons. It was overwhelming to see how people around us shows their love and affection to our kids. They were smiling the whole time, not worried if it's hot or not. They love the vibe in Kusina NI Camila, I think, because most of them have not explored the whole place yet since it was opened for viewing.

We thought the food will not be enough but thank God we survived and everyone is happy. We let the kids play until 2pm because the operation will resume immediately after for the grand opening. The kids got tired, finally!!!, and Yuri asked to go home. Her best friend joined us too and after changing her party dress, we all fell asleep and woke up almost 5pm! Wow!! Yuri woke up in a good mood and I asked, *Yuri how was your birthday and she answered, Mommy, I had fun!* My heart melted💛 Oh, how time really flies!!! So better cherish everyday you spend with your loved ones especially your kids because in just a snap of fingers they will outgrow you already. They will no longer want you to carry them, feed them, hug and kiss them in public and would not want to celebrate birthdays with you because they will celebrate it with friends or outside the country without you. ...^•°... Thanks for reading and God bless us all! Keep inspiring. Keep smiling. All images are mine. #originalcontent
