The leaves (morning musing)
When we look closer to these leaves, we can see the flaws and imperfections that it has. But when you focus on the beauty of it as a whole, those tiny details of flaws are immaterial anymore. You will only see the freshness, the life and the hope that it represents.
In life, it's also like that. When we are too close to a person no matter what he does we will always tend to take notice of a single mistake that he committed and sometimes question his sincerity and worst we even think that he wants something or he has hidden agenda. As if we are playing as a critic, a very annoying one. Take for example Joko, he is an adventurous young professional who wants to enjoy his youth. He goes out with his friends from morning to midnight that sometimes he failed to inform to any of his family members where he was. And he was not even accepting any phone calls. His mother always nags at him and scold him to act like a mature professional and even beg him to notify anyone of his family member where he is, even a text message will suffice. After scolding, Joko will slow down a bit, he will not go out and just invite his friends to come to their house, helped in some household chores, and let’s say will make up and even pamper his whole family with sumptuous meals and snacks. The scolding was forgotten but only for a while because Joko will soon again go out and explore the world in his own ways. Then same thing happened, kiss and make up thing. Maybe Joko and his mother needs a heart to heart talk, and explain each other’s side. Mother only wants to protect his son while the son took this as a way of controlling him. Yes, it’s hard when we are too attached to a person that when he commits a single mistake, we tend to keep it in our hearts, to save it and then keep on replaying them into our minds. We forgive but never really forget. Why is it so hard for us to forget? How much time do we need to forget everything and just enjoy with the present and live in peace? It's a question, I know for a fact the answer but it's easier said than done. There are moments when we are fine and okay but there are also times when all of a sudden all just comes back and haunt us. Which gives us the question, why can't we just move on, enjoy the moment and leave the past behind? The past is past motto is just hard to apply sometimes. People are people. No one is ever perfect or even close to perfection. We can do wrong and even lose control when our patience has been exhausted. But that should not be our excuse also to always drag the past and let these people turn their back on us. Everyone needs not just a second chance but unlimited chances.
Just like these leaves and trees around us. Sometimes we felt that they can't help us; they can't even shield us from the scorching heat of the sun or provide us fresh air during humid days. But you cannot blame all to them, right? Why don't you plant more and let them grow so they will serve their purpose to shield and protect you and one day they might even provide you fruits you will enjoy. It’s matter of give and take or even give and give. There should be no counting; which one gives more. A flaw is a flaw, but we have to accept it, love it and live with it. Stop blaming and rewinding the past so we can all live in peace, harmony and unity. Thanks for your time and I hope that you keep on inspiring and smiling.

I love the color of the leaves it reminds me of freshness and hope. And I also love how you come up with the details, not of the leaves but of life. Being skeptic is not bad, sometimes it brings us to safety but being so much skeptic even to familiar people around us is different. Joko, I understand him he is phlegmatic and people like his personality can be mistaken as just easy go lucky. It's hard to accept, but he needs to learn that there people who needs his attention too.
Thanks dear! Yeah, sometimes they need to listen to their parents even if they think they are mature already
