Just this week, I lost my savings. Literally.
I really worked hard for it. As a student, my allowance is my only kind of income as I am still minor to work part-time jobs. I thrifted all of it for the last school years just to have that money. I even didn't have my snacks and tried real hard not to spend even if I wanted to. I wanted to reward myself everytime I got high scores for quarterly exams but I refrain doing it because I keep in mind that I have to save money for college. I did all of it because I wanted to help my parents when I go to college. I made sure that my money is in a safe place and I always check it to make sure.
But just this week, I lost it. I only forgot to check for a night but then when I look onto it, it's almost gone. The thief took almost 3/4 of my savings. It was heart-breaking. Why do some people have to steal? Can't they also work-hard to get it? Why is it so easy for them to get money even it is not theirs? Do their conscience not work? Oh maybe he has. Atleast he/she did not took all of it. I guess I should thank him?
What really gets into my nerves is that, I don't know who took my money yet. I can't trust anyone now. I know its one of the people I often interacts with. On the second thought, I'll try to understand nonetheless. Maybe he/she needed it more than I do. I just wish that it will be spent practically.
So for you all, I realized that saving in your digital wallet is the best thing to do. It is very secured and only you can access it. I hope you guys would learn from me. Please make sure to secure your money because thieves are everywhere.
Thanks. Sorry for your loss
