I read a very sad story today. With a point. If you have pets, love them, take care of them forever. They are not toys that we can reject just like that. She was 18 years old. Her people, whom she had loved all her life, took her, the vaccination booklet, the leash, the collar and her belongings and took her to the Baldwin Park shelter. They said they were tired of fighting the older dog, signed the papers and left without even looking at her. When she was picked up by a volunteer at the shelter, she leaned against him, probably wishing it was all just an ugly dream. That moment was captured by photographer John Hwang, who was in the shelter at the time. Unfortunately, dogs love faithfully, with all their heart, with all their soul and are not able to understand that human 'love forever' usually has a shelf life .. - until the annual, until moving, until illness, until old age ... Dogs deserve better people. Eyes of an Angel team. Danas sam pročitala veoma tužnu priču. Sa poantom. Ako imate kućne ljubimce, volite ih, brinite o njima zauvijek. Oni nisu igračke, koje možemo odbaciti samo tako. Imala je 18 godina. Njeni ljudi, koje je voljela cijeli svoj život, uzeli su nju, knjižicu o cijepljenju, povodac, ovratnik i njezine stvari te je odveli u sklonište Baldwin Park. Rekli su da im je dosadilo boriti se sa starijim psom, potpisali papire i otišli, a da ju nisu ni pogledali. Kada ju je podigao volonter u skloništu, naslonila se na njega vjerujatno želići da je sve to samo ružan san. Taj trenutak ovjekovječio je fotograf John Hwang koji se u to vrijeme nalazio u skloništu. Na žalost, psi vole odano, svim svojim srcem, svom svojom dušom i nisu sposobni razumijet da ljudska 'ljubav za zauvijek' najčešće ima rok trajanja.. - do godišnjeg, do selidbe, do bolesti, do starosti...
