Importance of Real world investments
In the last few years, people are investing a lot in the Crypto world or the virtual world. In addition to that people have been doing stock-based investments for the past few years already. This is quite common. We have to also understand that real-world investments are also very important. We should be having some immovable assets in our real world that would give us some passive income.
We cannot say that all our digital investments can be safe all the time. There is a high possibility that their value can go down or we might even lose what we have earned so far. Thinking in this direction is not negative thinking but there is definitely a possibility for this. It is good to be aware and be prepared for such situations.
Income from Real Estate
This is one of the best investments in the real world that someone can do. I'm not sure about all the places in the world but there are a few places where the land value is always appreciating. Even in places where real estate gets a major hit because of inflation, there is again a possibility for the value to recover back again. For example in India, about a few years back when the last recession came, the land value and flat value dropped. People refrained from doing real estate investments. People were afraid and many people also started selling their houses for a minimum profit.
Now we are able to see that the value has again recovered and people are able to get good value for their investment. People buy land from landlords and build apartment buildings and sell them to individuals and make a huge profit. In good places, there is also a nice resale value for old buildings as well. Investors somehow get their returns if they construct or buy a house or apartment. Real estate can be one of the best real-world investment someone can have.
Gold and Silver Bars
Another good real-world investment would be to have Gold and Silver Bars. The demand for these yellow and silver metals is always high. In the coming years, the value would slowly keep going up and definitely not down. The demand will always be there. Someone once told me to purchase silver bars and keep them in a locker at home if I want to do a good investment. I guess his idea was good because if I compare the price of silver in the last 10 years, it has appreciated a lot.
The only problem with this type of investment is the safe keeping. Purchasing is not a problem and value appreciation is also not a problem. The only problem is the safe keeping. We have to keep it in a safe location where we don't make it easier for people to steal it. If we keep it in bank lockers, there is a high chance that the bank can charge us a huge amount of money as locker charges. But anyways this is also one good real-world investment someone can make.
