Best time to write is during the start of the day
Have you ever thought that doing something early in the morning is always good? Some people say this quite often and say that successful people are mostly morning people. I did not agree to that initially but from the look of it, doing things in the morning has always added more productivity is what I realized. I personally find it hard to switch to becoming a morning person but I really wish to be one considering the benefits it has.
Our mind stays fresh in the morning
For both reading and writing, they say morning is the best time because our mind stays fresh in the morning. The sleep would have taken care of the healing process of the body and after a good night's sleep, the body would be fresh and ready for a new day. The mind will also be relaxed and would like to focus on productive activities. Now making it work on writing something or reading something triggers the right nerves and the thought flow will also be very fresh.
For people who regularly have writer's block can also experiment with this and try to become a morning person and try to write down their thoughts in the morning. It need not necessarily be the full article that should be written in the morning, it can be just the hints of what you want to write. Later the hints can be developed on a good mood day.
We might be tired in the evening
During the daytime, we would have been exposed to so many things and we would have been flooded with many thoughts. All these things might create a small pressure in our mind and our body would ask us for a rest. At that time, if we focus on writing something by gathering our thoughts it may not work well. That's one of the reasons why evening or nighttime is not good for reading or writing. Even for some people if they try to read something before going to bed, they get sleepy easily and that's one of the reasons why they have the reading habit before going to bed to induce sleep.
It can create a pressure
Having the habit of writing can create pressure in the mind if we are doing that as the last activity of the day. We might already be in a rush to go to bed but our daily habit would push us saying that we shouldn't sleep without writing anything and we end up having trouble balancing out both and everyday it becomes a pressure for us.
There can be instances where people might have not had a great sleep the previous day. Then it is obvious that they may lack motivation the next day. But the percentage wouldn't start with 0 directly. They might have low motivation compared to other days. It is wise to utilize whatever motivation we have during the morning time and finish off reading and writing so that they can keep moving towards the end of the day to sleep early and compensate. This also creates less pressure on individuals.
