The hard life of migrants

For many expats, getting used to a new life and finding new friends can be very difficult. Given the great differences in culture and language, in some places people are more well-meaning and more friendly than in some other places. When we hear the word "migrant", we mean those who travel thousands of kilometers with dangerous backpacks in dangerous conditions.

International Migrants Day, December 18 Migrants can flee from poverty, natural disasters caused by climate change, wars, persecution, but they are also people who move for education, employment and other reasons.
Four years after one of the biggest migrant crises in Europe, the so-called Balkan route, which brought people to Southeast Europe who were left without anything, fleeing the war conflicts in their homelands, a lot has changed. More than a million people have passed through Serbia since 2015, most of them longing to reach some of the countries of the European Union.
The number of migrants who want to stay in Serbia is statistically negligible. Their final destination is the countries of Western Europe, and therefore they see Serbia only as a transit country. Unfortunately, women and children fled their homes because it was the only way to save their own lives, that a number of them were accommodated in our centers for asylum seekers / reception centers, but that for most of them migrant routes are extremely difficult and dangerous. Therefore, women and children more often wait for their loved ones in camps in Turkey, Jordan or Greece, wait for their husbands or eldest sons to eventually break through to the European Union country, and hope to re-establish the possibility of family reunification.

The lives of these people are difficult and sad. I want them to arrive in the Promised Land, for families to reunite and live a life worthy of a man

Yes, I also wish that all my compatriots who have left my country seeking improvements in their lives can find it. and that one day they can be reunited with their families separated by this crazy "momentary" situation that we all live here.

Times are hard. Often the situation is unfair. I want everyone to find their heart under the sun.
